Jin leaned his head against Taehyung's chest as they watched a movie together in his room. He was trying to enjoy their last night together before Taehyung leaves. After a week of spending most of his days and some nights at Jin's, he had to travel back to the U.S. as something urgent had come up with the company, and he couldn't handle it from Seoul.
Taehyung rubbed his hand along Jin's shoulder, his eyes glued to the t.v., but his thoughts were elsewhere. He wasn't looking forward to leaving but knew he had to. It was the first time he was going to have a long-distance relationship. He and Jin had spent a great deal discussing how they were going to make things work. He believes they could, he knew he would put in all his effort into making it work, and he was committed to traveling back and forth until they figured things out.
"What are you thinking about?" Taehyung looked down at Jin, who was tracing his finger against his chest, not paying attention to the movie.
Jin tilts his head, looking up at him, "Nothing, just that I am going to miss you. It was nice having you here."
"I will miss you a lot more, but I promise it won't take a long time for us to see each other again."
Jin turned, so he is now facing Taehyung, "I don't want you traveling too much, though."
"It's fine, I travel all the time for work, for us, traveling is not a problem for me, plus I need to be here to see my dad as well. You can't and shouldn't be traveling anytime right now. So don't worry yourself about me traveling; I am good with it."
Jin felt a lot better hearing Taehyung's words as he had been concerned. He had never been in a long-distance relationship. He had only been with one man in his entire life. That's one of the main reasons even while Taehyung has spent most nights around him; he has kept his feelings and needs under check, not wanting to put their relationship to the next level while not being sure of how things were going to work out for them.
He wanted to see how they progress as Taehyung returned to his home and if they would even be together in the upcoming months. While he liked Taehyung and enjoyed what was developing between them, he had to keep his focus on his primary role, and that was him being a parent and keeping his kids as a priority. He would do as he promises Taehyung, and that was to give his best to their relationship.
"Thank you," Jin whispers and wraps his arms around Taehyung, snuggling into his chest and closing his eyes. He enjoyed the comfort of being in Taehyung's arms. There was something about it that made him feel secure. Something he was hoping remains constant as he knew how much the honeymoon phase of relationships could disappear.

Two Months Later
"How's the little princess?" Taehyung cooed into the camera at Dallia, who was staring right back into the phone at him and smiling. "I don't know about little, but she is good, surprisingly. She slept all night. I guess getting older is making her behave." Jin answered, turning the phone to himself.
"Where is princess Aria?"
Jin chuckled at how Taehyung referred to his kids, "she is with her dad; he has her for the weekend. It's just Dallia and me this weekend. I plan to go to my parents with her tomorrow so they can spend the day with her. How was your day? You looked tired?"
"It's cold there, right; you should bundle up and make sure you bundle her up tomorrow. As for me, my day was busy, but no, I am not tired. I took a nap before calling you. I just woke up; that's why I look like this, and I just showered too, see." Taehyung moved the camera showing Jin he was only wearing his boxers.
Jin blushed as he tried not to let his eyes linger on Taehyung, "I see. Well, since you took a nap, do you want to continue season three today? I am dying to know what happened, and I feel like I am stuck in suspense right now. Yesterday I tried hard not to watch the next episode. Wait, before that, did you eat?"
"I got takeout, can eat while we watch the show, and by the way, you are very handsome. I miss kissing you very much." Taehyung had a teasing smile as he watched Jin blush; he had seen Jin's blush earlier and wanted to tease him again. "I thought about you earlier in the shower."
"Taehyung!" Jin yells out, startling Dallia, whose eyes went wide and her face turned into a frown, but Jin quickly picked her up, "sorry baby, Appa shouldn't have screamed like that. Did Appa's baby get scared?" Jin kissed her cheek, making her calm down.
"Can't believe you scared her," Taehyung says while laughing. Jin glared at him, "you caused that. I told you, you can't say things like that."
"I can't tell you that I am thinking about you? That I miss you, that I want to see you, I want to kiss you, and I want-"
"You want to watch the third season of The Walking Dead with me, yeah, I know, I want to watch it with you too. I can't believe it took us so long to watch this show. And yes, Taehyung, I miss you too and can't wait for you to come here."
"One more week, and I will be there. I have a surprise for you too."
"What's that?" Jin frowned as he started seeing Taehyung laugh; he knew then that he wouldn't tell him. "Whatever, don't tell me."
"Baby, if I tell you it's not a surprise, I want it to be a surprise. Oh, by the way, Jimin is coming with me."
Jin's face lights up, and Taehyung roles his eyes, "he is?!"
"Yeah, somebody told him he is missed in Seoul, so he begged like a kid to come with me. I don't know which person would tell him something like that. You have any idea of this, Seokjin?"
Jin looked from the camera and down at his daughter, "any idea who that might have been, Lia?" he was trying his best not to laugh.
He and Jimin had formed a good bond through Taehyung, and they spoke a lot. Jimin was able to help Jin with a lot of things he needed to be done for Taehyung.
"I am happy you are coming this month. I go back to work in another month, I believe. I have to check my leave notice."
"Found a babysitter for Dallia?"
"I am still interviewing a few as I want them to start before I go back to work so I can see how they are with her. My mom has offered to take care of her, but she lives too far for me to go and pick Dallia up after work. I can't do that, and it's not feasible for me. I rather someone come here and take care of her until I want to put her in KinderCare."
Taehyung nods his head understands, "that makes sense; let me know if I can help with anything."
"Will do, now please let's start our show, and if you fall asleep before the end of the first episode of this season, I am going to hurt you when I see you."
"Babe, I promise you I took a nap, I will be wide awake for however many you want to watch, no work tomorrow, so I am all yours tonight," Taehyung said, giving Jin a wink making him laugh.
