Some Years Later

"Don't peek," Taehyung tells Jin as he guides him down the path towards their new home.

Jin smiled and held his eyes shut; he was becoming anxious to see what it was his husband wanted to show him, "I am not peeking, I promise."

"I will tell you if Appa peeks, uncle Tae," Dallia said, walking alongside them, making both Taehyung and Jin laugh. "Wow, that's a big house. Is this our house, daddy?" Sun Hee, their five-year daughter, asked with her mouth and eyes wide while stopping and dragging her twin sister, Sang-Hee arm to stop with her.

Taehyung groans and lets out a heavy sigh, causing Aria and Jin to burst into laughter. " Babe, you can open your eyes," he says, feeling defeated as his surprise for Jin didn't go according to plan because, as usual, their twins ruined it.

Jin opened his eyes with a big smile plastered on his face; the smile disappears as he sees the house before him. Tears formed in his eyes, and he reaches for Taehyung's hand, holding it tightly. "You bought it? Wow, this is beautiful."

"It's your dream home; of course, I did. Inside is even more beautiful, although there is no furniture, I wanted us to decide on the decor. I hope you like it."

"I like it, daddy." Sang-Hee said, and her sister Sun Hee nods in agreement, "can we go inside?"

"Can you both be quiet? Uncle Tae is talking to Appa." Dallia pulls her sisters by their hand away from Jin and Taehyung. Aria made sure to follow behind them, knowing her six-year-old sister enjoyed playing the boss of her twin sisters, and she would most likely have to intervene.

Jin shakes his head, "I can't wait for them to grow up; they are a handful."

"They ruined my surprise." Taehyung was pouting while looking down at his husband's hand holding his.

Jin shifts and hugs Taehyung, "no, they didn't. I am still surprised. I can't believe you bought this house for us." Jin was still in awe that the home he had shown Taheyung several times that he considered his dream home.

Taehyung face lights up; seeing the happiness in Jin's eyes and his loving smile, leaning in, he kisses him on his lips, "I am happy you like it."

"I don't like it, I love it," Jin said, returning Taehyung's kiss.

"More than you love me?"

"Don't be silly, I love you a thousand times more," Jin responded with a smile resting his head against Taehyung's chest. He didn't know it was possible to find love again, but Taehyung came into his life when he least expected it but most needed it and has shown him that sometimes where there is an end, there is also an opportunity for a new beginning.

Every day with Taehyung was filled with nothing but joy and happiness; he treasured Seokjin and continually showed him how much he loves him. He was an amazing father, not only to their twins but to Jin's kids with Hoseok.

Marrying and starting a family with Jin was Taehyung's lifelong dream; each day, he wakes up thankful for what they have, something that a couple of years back seemed impossible for him, became possible.

He learned that sometimes patience is required to have the best things in life; it made him thankful that he never settled because waiting and now having Seokjin in his arms every day felt perfect in ways he couldn't describe it. He did his best as a husband, showing Seokjin how much he loved and cared for their family, never wanting to lose what they had.

"I want this room." Sang-Hee points to the room she, her sister, and her parents were standing in.
