《Your POV》

Tuesday was extremely boring and after a while I decided I'd take a walk to the store to buy some groceries. As I was halfway to the store it started to rain, and I mentally cursed myself for not grabbing my umbrella. I was shivering in the cold air, feeling the droplets of rain hit my head. It continued like that for a while until I saw a red umbrella being placed over me. I looked over with a bright smile but immediately stopped.

"Thanks! I really- what do you want? Are you following me now Travis?!" He turned red and shook his head vigorously. "No of course not. I just saw you passing by, and I didn't want you to catch a cold." I rolled my eyes and continued walking. "Where are you heading?" He asked softly. "None ya business. That's were." I said turning the corner. The rain came down even harder and it fell heavily against the umbrella. "Y/n. I know you-" I put hand up. "Just stop. I don't want to talk about it okay." He looked down and kept silent. "I'm sorry."

Travis and I headed into the store. I grabbed a cart and looked at the list I had written of the things I would need. It went smoothly and quietly. I was just checking out, with Travis carrying them for me. He insisted that I shouldn't carry anything heavy. Honestly it wasn't too bad with him around. It was a comfortable silence. Making our way out I held the umbrella for us. We trudged across the sidewalk and were waiting to cross the street. Once it indicated that it was safe to cross, we began to make our way to the other side. "Y/n I know you don't want to talk but what can I do to fix this...?" Travis said sadly.

We were halfway across when I stopped to look at him for a second, a second too long. A loud screeching could be heard as a car swerved my way. Travis had reacted first pulling me to his chest as he prepared his body for the impact. He cradled my head as we flew to the ground. The groceries I had bought spread all over the street as the car came to a halt. It went black, but only for a moment. Travis was laying on top of me unconscious as his blue shirt began to turn crimson. I let out a blood curdling scream. "Travis! Oh my god!" I sat up and cradled his body, tears streaming down my face as rocked back and forth. My body was in pain and my head hurt due to the impact, but it was nothing compared to Travis. An ambulance soon showed up and took me and him to the hospital. I refused to let go of his hand the entire ride.

He laid in the white hospital bed still unconscious. It had been hours. I had a few scrapes here and there but nothing major. It was late in the night before he moved. His face scrunched up in pain as he opened his eyes. "Travis! You're okay!" I said as more tears pooled in my eyes. Though they were full of happiness and relief. "I'm alive?" He asked looking at me. "Yes! What on earth possessed you to do that you idiot. You could have very well died! Please don't ever do something like that again!" I exclaimed gently hugging him. He stiffened up at the hug but melted into it. He felt nothing but pure bliss as I hugged him.

The pain seemed to fade away with each passing moment. "I would do it again Y/n. If it means you're unharmed. I'm glad you're okay. I would do anything for you." I sniffed as I sat up. My eyes were red and puffy. "Can we start over? I don't mean dating; I know you're not ready for that. But I want to at least be friends again." He said putting his hand on top of mine. 'I mean...he did save my life.' I thought as he looked at me with pleading eyes. "Yes. We can start over Travis." The smile on his face was one of pure joy, and it made me smile too. "You've made me so happy. Thank you, Y/n. I promise you won't regret it." He grasped my hand and pulled it to his heart.

Travis would have to remain in the hospital for a while, but he should be released Friday.  "Do you want to hang out at your place when you get out?" I asked as I got ready to leave. It was almost one in the morning, and I needed to go home. "Actually, I'm moving to a new place. I was heading over there when I saw you." "Oh really? Where too?" Just before he responded the door burst open to reveal Tatsuki. "Princess! Your knight in shining armor has arrived to take you home! ~" I laughed and nodded giving Travis a small hug goodbye. "Well, I'll see you Friday then." Travis said waving bye.

Tatsuki took me by the hand and gently lead me to the car waiting for us. "How are you feeling?" He asked as he slid in next to me. "Oh, I'm okay. Travis took most of the blow...he really shouldn't have though." I said looking down. "I would have done the same thing. And I know the others would have too. You're special to us Y/n." "But he could have died Tatsuki!" I said tearing up. He pulled me on his lap and cradled me. "You could have died too. Did you find out who hit you?" He asked whispering in my ear.

"Yes. It was a drunk driver. He was speeding through the rain and didn't see that the light was red." I sniffed as I rubbed my eyes. "He was arrested though, right?" I nodded as I laid my head on his chest. "How about I stay over tonight. Ya know so you're not alone. I imagine you would want some company after what you experienced." He suggested while playing with my hair. "Yeah, I guess so. Do you want to bring anything?" I asked while watching the trees pass by. "Well, I wouldn't mind picking up some food and I'll just buy some clothes I don't feel like going home to grab some." I chuckled and nodded.

Tatsuki stopped by a couple of stores on the way and even bought wings and pizza. Once we got there, we began our sleepover and were just getting ready to play some video games.
