Setting Sail

《Y/n POV》

"C'mon Y/n wake up we can't let you sleep in any longer." Zen said his hands through my face. The sensation of it caused me to roll over and hide my head in my arms. "Just two more minutes!" I grumbled. "Okay Zen you tried now it's my turn." Ichigo's said as he ripped the blanket off me letting the cool morning air hit my skin. He pulled me up gently to my feet patting my head again. "There now you're awake. Good morning, Y/n." He said giving me a small smile as he hands me my blanket. "Get to packing little lady." I nodded too shocked and honestly too tired to argue. "Good morning starshine the earth says hello!" Tatsuki said hugging me from behind. "Get off her, will you? Good morning doll." Senri said prying Tatsuki off me. "Good morning, everyone." I said stifling a yawn. 

"Good morning, Y/n." Travis said putting out the campfire. "Tatsuki has your breakfast he was keeping it warm for you." I nodded and finished packing up the last of my things. "Here princess." Tatsuki said handing me a pink lunch box. "It's got your breakfast and lunch in it. Breakfast is eggs with bacon and toast. As for lunch its some granola with fresh fruit with yogurt and a small salad." Tatsuki said smiling. "We've got to keep our energy up for the trip ahead. Hurry and eat we've got to get on board soon." Tatsuki spoke before rushing off to help Senri pack the last of our gear. "Wait, we've got a boat already? What about the horses?" I asked as I took a bite of toast. "So many questions doll. For the first one yes, we already have a boat there's a salesman who lives near the docks. We were able to secure a boat with him. As for the horses they will be freed to go back to their home. They weren't ours to keep." Senri said walking next to me. "Is the food good? It smells wonderful." Senri said looking at my food with a hungry look. 

"I'm guessing you can't eat human food. Sucks to be you." I said eating a mouthful of eggs and bacon. "It's not that I can't it's more of that it doesn't have the same flavor. As well at it not giving me any nutrients." He said rolling his eyes. "So, it's like gross now or something?" I asked. "I wouldn't go so far to say that it's necessarily bad tasting or bland. Just different." "So, what does bacon taste like?" I asked giving him a small piece. "Hm. I haven't tried bacon yet. Let's see." He said tossing the piece in his mouth. His brows furrowed together as he chewed, and he put his hand on his chin. "Well almost the same but the meat flavor slightly different. I mainly taste the sodium." Senri said. "So, maybe your taste is so refined you the chemical compounds of the food more so than the food itself." I say taking another bite of food. 

"You might be right doll. I forget how smart you are sometimes." Senri smiled. I rolled my eyes a slight blush overtaking my cheeks. "We are almost there it's not a long walk thankfully." The view was definitely worthy of its name. It was an amazing sight Minion began meowing in a talkative sort of tone. Her big green eyes looking all around in curiosity. "There's our boat Y/n." Senri pointed out.

The boat reminded me of those old Viking ships you'd see in a museum or the movies. "It's a quaint little thing the boat trip shouldn't take but a few hours. From what Ichigo said we should reach our destination by sunset. I'm so excited!" Tatsuki said rushing to my side his eyes lighting up. I nodded as we made our way to the docks. One by one we slowly got in the boat Minion was the last to get in. She took a seat in the middle of one of the benches. "Okay Tatsuki and I will row from the back as for Travis and Senri you two row the front. Y/n you can help by directing the stern. As for you Zen you're in charge of the map." Ichigo finished seriously. Everyone nodded and went to their positions.
