《Y/n POV》
"Y/n? Are you almost done? We are losing daylight." Senri said, peeping in my doorway. "Thank you again for removing the spell from your room. It hurt to see you shut yourself away like that." I rolled my eyes as I slid on my backpack. "It's down, not removed. I'm putting it back up once we get back." He smirked and smacked my butt as I walked past him. "You're such a spitfire doll. I love it." I ignored him and walked away muttering obscenities to myself. "You know I can hear you, right? Perks of being a vampire and all." Senri whispered in my ear. I jumped at the sudden contact and turned to punch him out of reflex. He tilted his head to the side just in time, a cocky smirk on his face. "It's a shame I can't pull the hitting a guy with glasses line now. I don't really need them anymore, so why wear them." He said, grabbing my arm before pulling into his chest.
"You're so cold, and your skin is like ice." I said, shivering under his touch. "You're so warm, and your skin is so soft." He replied as his lips brushed my neck. "That's enough." Ichigo's voice cut through the air like a knife. Before I could react, I was swept off my feet and was soon taken outside. Ichigo had placed me gently on my feet and kissed my forehead. "Here, put this on Minion, please. It's an enchanted collar to keep her safe while we travel." He said, placing a beautiful sliver collar in my hand. It seemed to be encrusted with emeralds adorned with intricate carvings of ivy. "Ichigo, it's beautiful. Where did you get this?" I asked. "I um made it. I've been going to town every day since our first trip there, and I picked up being a blacksmith as a hobby. As for the enchantment part, you and Senri aren't the only ones reading those books of yours." He finished crossing his arms. "Blacksmithing as a hobby? Huh. So that's where you've been disappearing off to." He nodded.
Minion was soon found wandering outside. "Come here, little lady. I've got a gift for you." She looked at me with a skeptical look before coming close. I held out the collar for her to sniff before sliding it on her neck. It glowed a bright green before going back to normal. Minion gave a small meow and twirled around. "You like it then?" I chuckled, patting her head. "Come on, let's get going." Minion gave a curt nod and trotted off.
《Time Skip》
"So how long do you think this trip is going to take?" Tatsuki asked, looking at Ichigo. "Well, considering we are thankfully on horseback, we should get there at least three days before the event. Travel wise, it will take us four days at most to get there." He spoke. "The sun is unbearable. Even with the sun ring I made." Senri said, wiping the sweat from his brow. "Sun ring? What's that?" Travis asked. "It puts a shield all over my body to repel the suns very harmful rays." Senri said, looking back at him. Travis had to think for a moment. "Oh, so like magical sunscreen but in a ring?" He asked. Zen and I chuckled slightly. Zen was the only one who didn't need a horse as he could float and was quite frankly unable to ride one if he tried being a ghost and all. Senri rolled his eyes but nodded none the less.
The sun was at its peak as we continued on our journey. "Hm. We should reach River here by nightfall. Once we do, we need to figure out how we can make a safe passage across. I don't like the name of the place, that's for sure." Ichigo mumbled, looking at the map intently. "What is it? It can't be that intimidating, surely." Senri spoke up. "It's called Dragons Path." Senri gave a curious look. "Hm. I suppose we will see when we get there. Dragon's path...how odd."

《At the Castle》
"Show me the girl." Adrian commanded the magic mirror once again. The mirrors surface began to ripple as if made of water before changing from the king's reflection to the object of his desires. "She's almost at Dragons Path. Thankfully, I don't really need to worry about her safety. She's got all the protection she needs with those friends of hers." Adrian muttered to himself. "I don't know what it is about her, but she's just so..." "Captivating? Your Highness." The voice of the king's personal guard cut through the air. "Yes. Yes, that is the most adequate word for her Rudolphus." Adrian spoke smiling.
"She is quite beautiful, my friend. Were you planning on courting her?" Rudolphus asked with a smirk. "Well, I am not sure. More than anything, I want to know why she has such a hold on me. Just looking at her is enough to bring a smile to my lips. I've never felt this way with any other woman I've met." Adrian said, turning to face the mirror again. "Ah, I understand now. She is a book you're dying to read in a sense. Something new and foreign to you that you crave to understand." Rudolphus said, peering over his friend's shoulder. Y/n was seen in the mirror, smiling and looking towards the sunset.
"Hm." Adrian paused for a moment, his face overcome with deep thought. "Yes and no. She isn't an object I want to possess and study, per say. I just can't put it in proper words at the moment. I want to get to know her more so that I can." He finished with a wave of his hand, the mirror returning to normal once again. Rudolphus gave his friend and king a curt nod and smiled before bowing. "I shall return to my duties now your highness." Adrian nodded, watching his friend leave. Adrians eyes couldn't help but glace towards the mirror once more. Biting his lip before waving his han, letting the image of the girl appear again.
They were setting up camp by the riverside as the sun had almost set. "Please be safe on your journey, fair maiden." His hand had gently caressed the reflection of your face. "Why does your face look so...familiar."
