"My biggest mistake is thinking that people care for me as much as I do for them."

                                                                                   Gavin

Still pacing around wondering when these doctors gonna get out, a tall man with a name tag that read James walked out in a hurry.

"how is everything sir? did she wake up did you.." I stopped midsentence when he shook his head and mumbled an apology before disappearing from my sight. I sat back in the waiting room chair while Vina cried so hard that nurses approached and asked her to calm down. Jamal has left and hasn't come back. Aiyana can't die! no! she can't it would be my fault. I should have watched her cause....

"have they said anything?" Jamal asked appearing from nowhere

"I think this might be worse" he mumbles some curses before sitting and being who he is, he busied himself in his phone. I know him well enough but sometimes I never get the fact that he's doing things though it's no surprise to me and I can't blame him though. I texted Nick that we are at the hospital but didn't give him much details while Vina talked to Ivy and leans back  against me. Finally after another hour of waiting a group of masked doctors got out and I was relieved but freaked out again when one of them approached us.

"what happened to her how is she can I go to see-" Vina was cut off by the doctor

"calm down young lady! we have everything under control right now and I can brief you about her condition" He told her and turned to use changing his tone into a more earnest tone.
"Aiyana has been toxified with white arsenic also known as arsenic oxide and she has likely ingested that in a drink. This is a highly toxic substance that she had to die within less than twelve hours. Additionally, she has breathed in a lot of carbon monoxide and that's why she has got vision and hearing loss leading to fainting. So, we're not sure yet about how everything occurred but someone wanted to eliminate her. Thanks to the one who got her out of water and provided the cardiopulmonary resuscitation because that person is the reason she's alive now. We really did our work though it was hard to detoxify her but that's the main fact. So, don't worry, she'll gain conscious maybe tomorrow or even later but she'll be okay" I released a sigh after his explanation, what a relief! she will tell us who did that to her and I'll end him without doubt. The doctor nods and turned to leave before Vina asks

"can I enter and see her now?" her voice was soft

"no! you'll be allowed to go in when she wakes up maybe tomorrow or anytime" she forced a nod at his reply "and I'm sorry to say this but she might lose her memory or you know, anything related to difficulties in recalling things"

"what? no! she can't lose her memory" Vina cried again as I rubbed her back and she hugged me to which I returned

"she might not lose her memory completely but she might-" he sighs "well, she might be even okay without any memory problem. It depends on the body capability and defense" by that he nods and left. I calmed down Belvina before Jamal turns confidently to leave.

"Jamal, wait" Vina wiped tears on her cheeks and got closer to where Jamal was standing "thank you" Jamal's face was blank but I could tell that he was confused as I am too. "Yanai could have died if it weren't for you saving her tonight" she cries again "thanks for the CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and getting her out of that bathtub it really means a lot to us I really appreciate" Jamal stay in his silent mode until he slightly nods and left. I know he's thinking something since he's- I was interrupted when Vina runs to me again. I held her as we exit the hospital heading to the parking lot. She sat in the car and I follow
