M is For (Pretty Little Liars)(Not Complete)

The Beginning

The day was finally here. I stop my alarm clock and roll out of bed. I take a quick shower, fix my hair, brush my teeth and put on some mascara and eye liner. After getting dressed I head down stairs.

"Good morning Melanie!" I hear my grandfather say.

"Morning" I say without much enthusiasm.

"Are you excited for today?" he asks as he takes a sip of his tea.

"Uh Huh" I say as I grab a granola bar from the pantry and put it into my bag.

"I'm sure it'll go just fine. You'll like Rosewood, It's a nice school!" He says trying to reassure me.

I give a forced smile and slip on my shoes. I had lived with my grandpa for only a few weeks now and it hadn't been easy. He always tries to look at the happy side of things but I just wasn't there yet. Not after what had played out the last few months.

"Thing's will be different here, won't they?" he asks and I freeze.

"You said you wouldn't bring that up." I say quietly, shocked as to why he would say something like that, especially today.

"I know but I just hope....certain things won't happen again, for your sake dear." he says with a reassuring smile.

"Yeah me too" I say quickly, grabbing my car keys and rushing out the door.

I drive for about 15 minutes before arriving at my destination. Rosewood High. I find a parking spot near the back of the lot and take my keys out of the ignition. I sit and silently debate on either going to class or blowing it off and finding something better to do. With a sigh I make my decision: I grab my bag and exit the car.

As I make my way to the gigantic school building ahead of me I hope for the hundredth time everything goes smoothly. That and I hope no one knows about my past. "Why would they?" my sub-conscience questions. I brush off the idea and try to mentally prepare myself for whats to come.

(Hi! This is my first fanfiction and it's going to be at least 40 pages long but most likely more! I'm also going to try to do updates every few days! I have an interesting story line planned, so thanks for giving it a chance! If you've written a story, let me know I'd love to read it!)
