"WATCH OUT!"someone yelled.a football was about to hit Wendell's head!i gasped and immediately jumped up,I caught it and fell on the concrete."owie."I mumbled,"nice catch Jane!"Wendell complimented me as Mox and Charlie helped me up."sorry about that,we didn't mean to throw it at you guys."a boy said,"it's ok,next time though aim a little higher and use your right hand."i gave him some advice.i handed the football back to the boy,"Wowie Janey you sure do know a lot about football!"Billy Bob complimented me."of course she does Billy Bob,she's part of the team.even if coach won't let her play with us,she's still a member of the coyotes."Mox said,I smiled happily.
We walked to school,as soon as we did everyone stared and whispered.majority of the people in our school talked to the boys,but not me.Mox and Lance kissed their boyfriends,making me want to gag and look away.Charlie noticed and distracted me,"Hey!Janet,wanna come to my party next week?"he asked me."I don't know Charlie,parties aren't my style:you know this."I reminded him,"yeah but I figured that you need to loosen up a bit,have some fun!"he said.i rubbed my arm,"I...I don't think I'll go Charlie,sorry."I said."Well if you ever change your mind,you know where I live."he said,jokingly punching my arm.
