"You've certainly changed a lot."he pointed out,I laughed."Yeah,but I'm still same old Janet..."I trailed off,he gave me a concerned look.he sat himself up a bit,"what's wrong?"he asked."oh,uh,it's nothing."I lied,"no,no,I know that look:what's wrong J?"he asked.i sighed,"I know you and Mox are dating cheerleaders but,well I don't like them.Coach makes me change with them and it's uncomfortable!your girlfriend is always staring at me and whispering to her friends about me and-I-"i was now shaking.i couldn't control the tears rolling down my cheeks,I sniffed and immediately wiped them."it's fine though,it's no big deal."I lied,"it clearly is to you J."Lance finally spoke.i sighed,"I'm sorry Lance,I didn't mean to say all that stuff about your g-"he cut me off.
"I'm gonna break up with her."i was shocked when he said that,was I hearing things right?"w-what?"I asked him,I wanted to make sure I heard him right."i said I'm gonna break up with her."he repeated himself,"but why Lance?i thought you-"he cut me off again."i don't love her J,I never did.i just thought it would impress people if I dated a cheerleader,but I never loved her."he explained,he looked at me.his sky blue ocean eyes were hauntingly enchanted to me,"I love you Janet Utah,i always have."he confessed.I gasped,was I hearing this right?this must be a dream,"you...you do?"I asked him just to be sure."Yeah,I do."he replied,nodding his head yes.
"Lance-"he cut me off again,"look I know what you're gonna say J but I got it all figured out,we can make our relationship public as soon as I break up with Darcy."he explained.I didn't say anything for a minute,all of the sudden I kissed him.i couldn't help it!i immediately pulled away,"shit,Lance I'm-"he pulled me back towards him and kissed me.i widened my eyes,not knowing how to react at first.i closed my eyes and kissed back,we both stopped to breath.he leaned my forehead against mine,we were both panting as if we had just played a game together.i looked at him,he looked at me.
