The barbecue was great,for a while.let me explain:so we were all having a good time,the adults were talking and distracted.this was my opportunity to finally play football with the boys,"I'M OPEN!I'M OPEN!"Charlie yelled as he waved his arms in the air.i chuckled the football at him,he cheered as he caught it."Nice one Janey!"Billy Bob complimented me,"thanks Billy Bob!"i said as I have him a high five.we then heard some commotion coming from the tables,we all saw Lance and Mox as well as Mox's dad."oh no."I mumbled,we all flinched and winced as Mox threw the football at his dad's nose."Oh!"we all said,"that's gotta hurt!"Wendell said."you got that right Wen."i said,needless to say:Mox doesn't really like his dad that much.

I eventually decided to go to my favorite tree,I climbed all the way to the top and sat on one of the branches as I watched the sun slowly set.i exhaled and closed my eyes as I felt the breeze blow my hair,"Janet!time to go home kiddo!"I heard my dad call out my name."Coming dad!"I called out back,I slowly climbed down the tree.the minute my feet touched the ground I heard noises coming from the bushes,rather then running I picked up a huge stick.sweat dripped down my forehead.the rustling stopped,i exhaled and dropped the huge stick.i walked back to Mox's house,"ready to go home honey?"my mom asked me.i nodded,I followed my parents back to the car.
