Chapter Fourteen, Making A Plan

~Momoko's P.O.V~
"Alright guys. We gotta make a plan", Butch said as he tapped a dry erase marker on the big white board.  "Where do we even start?", Boomer asked. "Well what do we know?", Butch asked. "Basically nothing", Kaoru said. "Well we know they hate us", Brick said. "Think harder", Butch said. I closed my eyes and tried to picture black star and remember everything she had said to us. "I can't think of anything", Kaoru complained. "Wait!", I said as I remembered something. "What?", Brick asked. "Black star was staring at Miya a lot remember? She even said she hated her the most", I said. "Hey your right", Brick said. "But why Miya.. bubbles? Neither egos do anything to make people angry", Kaoru said. "Miya have you done anything to piss any one off lately?", Butch asked. "No not at all.. well maybe my parents but I know they are still in Milan and they wouldn't hurt me", Miyako said. "Is this all we know about them?", Kaoru asked. "I think so", Boomer said. "Okay", Butch said as he wrote Black star hates Miyako. "We need to draw them out some how", Kaoru said. "Good thinking. We'll have Miyako walk around town. Some one will tip off the press and Black Star will see it on tv or hear about it and come after her", Butch said as he wrote down what he had said. "Whoa whoa whoa wait a damn minute here! Miya is not gonna be bait!", Boomer said as he crossed his arms. "Calm down Blue it's not like she'd be alone. You can be with her. Us four will be close by somewhere waiting. Once we see her we can jump out and stop her before she even touches Miya okay?", Butch said. "So what's the goal? Catch her?", I asked. "Catch her. Rip off her mask", Butch said as he shrugged. "What about nebula?", Brick asked. "Well once we see them coming.. Kaoru and I will jump out and grab him. Momoko and Brick will go after black star", Butch said. "Hmmm", Brick hummed. "So after that you two will transform and help out who ever needs help", Butch said as he pointed to Miyako and Boomer. "Okay", Miyako said. Boomer nodded his head. "Miyako is the main thing in this plan. It all revolves around her", Butch said as he circled miyako's name on the dry erase board. "I just don't get how any one can hate Miya like she's so nice", I said.  "Maybe that why", Kaoru said. "What?", Brick asked. "I mean mojo hated us for being 'Goody two shoes' ya know", Kaoru said as she did air quotes. "Maybe", Boomer said. "What about your fashion line? It's so popular.. maybe another designer is jealous", Butch said. "I honestly don't know. They're are so many other clothing lines it would be impossible to tell", Miyako said. "She's right. There are to many designers in the world", Boomer said as he frowned. "What about you two? Black star said she hates the power puff girls so maybe she knows Momoko or Kaoru", Butch said. "The only person who hates me is my professor but we already ruled him out", I said. "Oh great so that just leaves Kaoru", Brick said. "What!?", Kaoru demanded. "Well I mean sometimes you accidentally come off mean", brick said. "Yeah but some one wouldn't become a whole villain because I was accidentally mean. Especially not here. Maybe in North Carolina but not los angles", Kaoru said. "Kaoru is right", I said as I looked at her. "I just don't understand", Brick said as he pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration. "Okay well we know she had blonde hair. Maybe it's someone we know", Butch said. "Anna?", Kaoru asked. "No way she's my best friend!", I said. "Ouch", Kaoru said as she faked hurt. "Oh come on you guys know your my best friends but Anna and asuna are my best friends in Los Angeles",I said. "Yeah Anna wouldn't do that. She loves us", Brick said. "Miya's mom has blonde hair but black star looks young", Boomer said. "So this has to be a complete stranger", I said. "Well a psychopath really. They targeted us and are plotting against us when they don't even know us", Butch said. "He's right. Definitely creepy", Boomer said. "Okay so after we go after them how are we supposed to catch them? Momoko and I can use our yo-yos to wrap them up but it won't hold them forever. Maybe a few seconds max because of they're fire power. They will burn right through it", Brick said. "He's right. Our weapons won't stand a chance", I said. "Maybe my bubbles will hold them?", Miyako said. "I think that's our best option", Kaoru said. "Couldn't they burn through the bubble?", Boomer asked. "I don't know. Her bubbles aren't like normal bubbles. Remember back when we had a fight with the power punk girls and miyako's bubble captrured brat? Brat kept punching but wasn't able to break through", I said. "I remember that", Brick said as he nodded his head. Every thing was quiet until Brick broke the silence. "To bad the professor only gave you ice shards and not the ability to freeze something whole", brick said as he rested his head on his hand. "That would of been cool but couldn't it kill someone?", Boomer asked. "Who knows?", Brick said. "We need guns", Butch said. All five of us whipped our heads around and looked at Butch giving him a what the hell glare. "What? All I'm saying is it would work", Butch said. "Butch we are superheroes not murders!", Kaoru yelled. "Hey I didn't say we had to shoot to kill just you know like the foot or leg?", Butch said as he shrugged. "That's still awful!", Miyako said. "Okay cops do it and they are hero's", Butch said. "That's different they don't have powers to protect themselves like we do!", Kaoru said. "Look it could just be a stun gun! Ya know a taser!", Butch said. "Ohh I like that idea", I said. "Butch and Momoko you two are idiots! Butch and I are tasers! We can shock people remember!", Kaoru said. "Oh yeah! I forgot!", I said. "Haha I can't believe that slipped my mind", Butch said as he smiled at Kaoru. "Big dummy", Kaoru said as she smiled and rolled her eyes. "Alright alright so back on topic. Miya captures them or at least black star with a bubble then we will need to take her to jail?", Butch asked. "But if she's got the fire powers then she could burn the place down and get free?", Miyako said. "To bad we didn't have a gun like the professor's", Butch said. "That only works on people effected by black z rays remember?", Brick said. "Yeah I know", Butch said. "Maybe we could ask the professor for advice?", Boomer said. "No way! He'd probably tell our parents and they'd be so worried!", I said. "I mean the news cameras already filmed our last fight so I'm sure they will see it soon enough", Kaoru said. "What if they try to come here though? If they come here they could get hurt by black star!", Miyako said. "Damn Miya your right. We've gotta get this situation under control before our families see", Kaoru said. "My grandma would be so worried", Miyako said. "Look guys we're adults now. We don't need help. We're making plans. We know the risks. We're not kids anymore that has to ask the professor what we should do", Kaoru said. "Kaoru is right. It's up to us now", I said. "We can pull this off. I mean is there anything we can't do? We're all pretty great. Mostly me", Butch said as he smiled. "Yeah right", Kaoru said as she rolled her eyes and smiled at Butch. "We have to pull this off. Momoko and I can't leave for Japan if they are terrorizing the city. It's our job to save it", Brick said. "And all this is making them push back having a baby", Butch said. "Butch!", Brick said. "What!? They are our friends", Butch said. "So you guys aren't trying for a baby anymore?", Boomer asked. "No.. not while the villains are out there. Momoko can't fight while she's pregnant and I can't take them on by myself", Brick said. "But you guys was so happy!", Miyako said. "That's why where all going to pitch in and get this done", Butch said. "Jeez Butch you want a nephew so bad", Kaoru said. "Duh that's all I care about", Butch said. "I thought you said you was doing it because you hated seeing us sad?", Brick said. "Dude! Shut up!", Butch said as he shot Brick a death glare. "Butch your such a big softie", Kaoru said. "Yeah yeah tease all you want", Butch said. "It's sweet though. Who knew you had a heart", Boomer said as he smiled. "Okay so I care about my brother and my soon to be sister in law", Butch said as he crossed his arms. "Don't worry Butch I won't let Kaoru tease you", I said as I gave Butch a reassuring smile. "Alright I won't tease you for being mushy this time but next time you do something mushy I've gotta tease you", Kaoru said. Butch smiled and rolled his eyes at Kaoru. "Alright so anyways we can get ear pieces that we can wear to communicate with each other", Butch said. "We can talk telepathically duh", Kaoru said. "Miyako and boomer can't be transformed Kaoru", Butch said. "Yeah black star will think she's got the upper hand", Brick said. "Aaahhh good thinking Butch", Kaoru said. "I'm smart sometimes You know Kaoru", Butch said as he smirked. "Guys I'm still a little worried here. I can't let Miya get hurt. Maybe I can be transformed but but different clothes over my ruff outfit? So that way if something goes wrong I can help", Boomer said. "That's a good idea boom", Butch said as he tapped the marker on his chin. "I think this plan may work", Kaoru said. "It better", Butch said as he looked at brick and I. "I hope it does", brick said as he reached over and squeezed my hand. "I'm just ready to be done with villains", I said as I sighed. "Tell me about it. Let us just stick with random bank robbers and jewelry thieves", Kaoru said as she stretched her arms in the air. "Simpler times", I said as I smiled remembering the old days when our main villain was mojo in his robot and everything else was easy. We could stop anything. Now it feels like the villains are harder. Unstoppable even. Hell if brick hadn't of died and the punks hadn't fallen in love with the tuffs then I don't know how we would of stopped them. They was so fierce and ready to kill us girls. Us being heroes we could never do that. It's our job to protect even if that means we have to protect the bad guys life too. "Listen guys we all need to be well rested for this. Why don't we all chill out and watch a movie. Make some popcorn and enjoy our time. We only have a few more days left", Butch said. "I'm down for a movie. Then after that we can all head to bed", Brick said. "Sounds good to me", Kaoru said. "Sounds relaxing", Miyako said as she smiled. Boomer nodded his head but still looked at Miyako with worry in his eyes. I wondered what he was thinking about. Maybe he's still worried about her being used for bait. Kinda makes me uncomfortable too but this is how we can draw black star and nebula out into the open. I mean it's six against two so the odds are in our favor right? But they are powerful though. I know I'll do my best to keep Miyako safe. I'd fight until my last breath for everyone in this room. I love them.
