Calum was the one who drove us to a random restaurant and we sat outside which maybe we shouldn't have because of paparazzi. "I will never understand the job of taking pictures of strangers and making a story out of it." Calum started pout and I just laughed at him. "Well you kind of signed up for it." I poked fun of him pouting over his fame. Calum grumbled as he looked at his menu and I looked at mine, I could feel myself smirking.

 "Why do you want greasy food anyways?" Calum asked as he continued to look at the menu, "because I wanted some!...and I'm on my period." I said, I always was straight up with him and never was ashamed of telling him things. "That explains a lot..." Calum mumbled and I kicked him under the table. "What was that for?!" Calum asked and I gave him a nasty look, "what do YOU mean?" I asked back and he took a deep breath before answering me. 

Right as he opened his mouth the waitress took our order and asked if we are together or separate. "Separate." "Together." came out of our mouth and I said louder that we are separate. "Ava...I'm paying." Calum demanded and I rolled my eyes. "What did you mean by that explains a lot?" I wondered and waited for him to respond. "Well...I'd like to admit that I know you very well and when you're on your period you don't have sex but you get very horny and you cry a lot more than usual." Calum read me like a book. I felt very loved because he still knows me like the back of his hand. "I can't believe that you remember these things about me." I admitted.

"I mean we did date." Calum added and soon enough our food was brought out to us. We ate in silence because how much we were starving. I couldn't finish my plate because how full I got so fast. Calum finished his plate clean, "Baby finish your food." Calum said as he started to feed me. It was so stupidly romantic and I let him. "Why do you call me baby still?" I asked him right before I took the last bite of my food. 

Calum sat there for a second started to think. "Because that's your name." Calum joked and I gave him a look to tell me the truth. "I call you baby still because I know I'm the only one who does, it's my name for you." Calum explained and him explaining made me cry. It was true. 

He is the only one when I was with guys when we were broken up I didn't allow them to call me that. I didn't let them because I wanted to be Calum's. "Don't cry." Calum took my hand into his. I smiled and I wiped away my tears. 

"What are we, Ava?" Calum looked into my eyes and my mouth went dry. My mind was racing because I didn't have an answer for him. We aren't back together yet but I am falling in love with him all over again. "I don't know." I whispered still not giving a full answer. Calum kissed my hand. "I'm not going to see anyone anymore." Calum said and I smiled at him. "Me too..." I agreed with him. We paid for our checks and went to the car. Hassled by people taking pictures. 

We made it to the apartment and I unlocked the door quickly went to my bed and laid on it. "I'm so full why did you make me eat it all?" I groaned, Calum laughed as he laid down next to me. "Are you staying another night?" I asked Calum as I roll over in bed. "I think I should go back home." Calum let me down and I frowned. "Oh okay." I tried not to sound disappointed because it's not like we are together. "I mean we do leave for Australia in a couple days so I better start packing, you should too." Calum said as he kissed my forehead. I can't believe that I'm leaving the states for the first time in years in just a couple of days. 

I kissed Calum goodbye and started to pack because I'll be gone a whole month. I had to remember their summer is our winter. A couple of hours went by and the sun set I wasn't hungry enough for dinner so I got into bed to fall asleep. I tossed and turned for another hour,  I got on my phone hoping it would make me fall asleep. 

I went on twitter and saw that there was the first gossip article of me and Calum since we broke up. I laughed at it because they were saying we were back together and shit like that, I texted Calum the article so he could have a laugh. 

A: Look! ahahahha

C: I saw that! People really jump to conclusions.

A: For real!

C: I can't sleep :/

A: Me too...

C: Come over.

A: On my way! 

I put together as small night bag and ran out the door after I locked up the apartment. I was driving in a hurry to his place. I saw that I was being followed but I quickly got to Calum's place, Calum was outside waiting for me. I smiled, he came and grabbed my bag. "You got here fast." Calum said while chuckling. "I get to be with my friend so of course I got here fast." I emphasized the word friend.

 He shook his head as we walked into the house. I followed him to his bedroom, it still looks the same since we broke up. I noticed a picture of me is still on his bedside table. I walked over and sat on the bed and held the picture frame. I knew I had him wrapped around my finger forever. "You didn't get rid of this?" I asked him and he sat down next to me taking the frame in his hands. 

"Nope. I kept it because you're the only thing that gets me through the day even when we weren't together." Calum cleared his throat because I could him about to cry. I snuggled into his side, "What did you do when you had umm... company?" I wondered, "I never let them sleep in bed, we went to the guest room." He admitted, "Where am i sleeping?" I looked up at him and he gave me look like I should already know. "Here dummy." Calum kissed my head.
