Elevator

They put Artemis and Shadow in a room, with a bed with a gray bed set, a desk, some chairs, and a couch. 

"now what Grayson? we have the girl and her dog" Hank asked.

"We wait until she wakes up and talk to her, "Dick told them.

"you think she'll sit down like a nice little girl and talk?"Donna asked.

"I think we should tie her to a chair...with fireproof chains," Hank said.

"No...let's talk to her and if she tries something Rachel could restrain her with her powers, ok?"Dick asked.

"Fine" Donna said.

Five minutes later Artemis woke up and looked around, then thought about Shadow. She felt him hit her leg with his paw.

"oh thank God...your ok"Artemis said relieved.

"Now let's get out of here," She told Shadow. They got off the bed and tried to open the door but it was being blocked by something and she didn't know what it was. What she also didn't know was that she was being watched.

"She's trying to get out...I think we should let her out" Gar said looking at the footage.

"I think we should leave her in there," Rose said and Gar looked at her.

"What I mean she's dangerous, plus it's chained closed so she wouldn't be able to get out, "Rose told the boy.

"She's right" Rachel added, and at that moment Artemis had had it and then used her dark powers and blew the door open. She and Shadow then ran out of the room and looked around the tower to try and find a way out.

"What the fuck was what?"Rose asked.

"She has dark powers?"Rachel asked and Gar just looked at the both of them and back at the screen. He then put the place on look down so she couldn't leave.

Artemis and Shadow ran until they had found the elevator doors. Artemis tried to open them with her hand but it didn't work. She then saw the elevator's control panel and used one of her knives to unscrew it from the wall and started messing with the wires. She had almost gotten it open till Conner grabbed her and Shadow from behind and carried them to the couch."Put me the fuck down, NOW!" When he set her and Shadow down on the couch they all stared at Artemis and she stared back.

"Yes?...are you people just gonna stare at me or are we gonna talk?"Artemis asked annoyed. Dawn gave her some tea.

"here, "Dawn said with a smile. Artemis looked into the blonde women's eyes and could tell that she was a good person. She took a sip of the tea and it tasted just like her mother's did.

"Thank you," Artemis said at the woman and the blonde smiled.

"I'm Dawn," the blonde told her in a sweet tone.

"Artemis," She said back nicely. Somehow Artemis trusted the woman and felt safe with her.

"Oh so now you wanna act nice," Hank said to the girl.

"At least she was kind to me and not being an ass"Artemis snapped back.

"At least I'm not some psycho killer unlike you!"Hank yelled. 

"At least I'm not an insecure fuck who feels the need to act tough to feel important!" She yelled back and Hank was about to walk up to the girl ready to fight her. She just sat there and sipped her tea and Shadow growled at the man for a sec before Artemis rubbed his head to calm him.
