As I Bury You

I bury you and burn our ties, and as it rains,
The fire I have created fails to keep up for much longer,
I burn our glitter
I burn our shine.
Our words have been exchanged, our words have been shared, a universe we have both created when you witnessed me digging up every diamond I consist of, handing it over to you, brightening up your world, while mine darkens through the night, while mine darkens in alignment with the colour of my skin.

Our love was the closest thing to purity,
Yet closer to madness, causing my insides to bleed, while you continue to love,
While you continue to shelter yourself with any spark you come across and I continue to abate to every thought of you and drown in your words while I bury you, and in this moment,
I may have lost you, however, it could also be your loss,
As I have loved you, yet brought along storms,
Enough to destroy the fire we have both created with our passion,
Enough for you to not urge for me anymore, and as I bury you, I am left loveless,
Walking on the edge of the world, in hopes of being set free.
