Your little girl
A flower you have spent all your life watering, beautifying for the formation of blooming,
However, my blooming had been different,
A blooming filled with disappointments, an ocean of tears,
A blooming filled with broken dreams, abandoned aspirations, along with an estranged spark.
A daughter you once loved,
One with a promising future, reeking of success, an illusion filled with unrealistic expectations, an Illusion filled with comparisons, comparisons that have led me astray, in an attempt to hear a praise as you continue to discredit me, while I turn into a remote,
One you have control over, and each word leads to a drop of worth, as each child you bare wins over your affection,
An achievement I have failed to claim, regardless of living to please, regardless of aiming to please.
A perfect daughter, one that does not take part in devious deeds, yet you could not love me, as I am a disappointment, one that tends to defy your expectations.
