Our Love,
Shielded with aches, yet it continued to brighten through the shadows,
Through the loneliness that bared the weight of our treasured moments filled with love letters unread, unheard of, as we continued to love each other in silence.

A look, followed by a other look,
One which caused one to stare, yet our eyes failed to meet,
A love that has driven the both of us mental in our search for a different home,
One which did not keep our scars company,
Causing us to write poetry as it choked out a war in us,
While we continued to lose ourselves to ease the heat, to ease the yearn for running our hands on each other's insides,
A forbidden passion which caused the both of us harm,
While we kept the world at bay,
Keeping it in the dark from the thrown out pages of our love story,
Our love.
