True Love

True love,
One that that has us lending an ear to tear-jerking music,
Melodies that have us finding galaxies in our cherished one's eyes, as we have been in love several times, yet an 'I love you' has us thinking we have found our prince charming.
Quite naive, however, one cannot help but yearn for each and every part they consist of to be cherished and we are told love is bound to find us,
Bound to discover us, yet the wait is one we cannot bare,
Therefore, we take part in the formation of stars, hoping to turn into one so we can be loved,
Exploring each and every galaxy to pick an interest, a risk,
Resulting in a relapse of an aching heart.
True love, one that marks our hearts with the memories of the ones that left,
The ones that could not love us further, or could not love us at all,
Yet we continue to love them, along with others,
That fail to love us too.
True love.
