F*ck, I'm pregnant with my ex's baby. After the session was done, I went straight to Reign's car. I could feel their stares, but I stayed quiet. We were silent the whole trip. Thea didn't even bother playing some music. Fiona couldn't even say a word. Bella even stayed up and avoided checking her phone.
As we got down the car, we saw Lucas with a half smile. Lucas and Bel exchanged whispers, but I went directly to the unit. I entered my room and lay down on my bed. I tried to compose myself and took some deep breaths.
After a few minutes, they knocked on my door and entered. They went towards me and hugged me.
"I'm pregnant," I said. They were all so shocked, still not saying a word. "Hayden . . . That f*cking Marquez got me pregnant! I'm f*cking pregnant! Buntis ako! Malapit na ang exams ko at buntis ako, pero iniwan ako! P*tangina!"
"I'll get water," Reign said and walked out of my room.
"Nakakainis! Paano ko papalakihin 'yong anak ko nang walang ama?"
"Ha-hunting-in ko 'yon!" gigil na sabi ni Lucas.
"Sariling kapatid nga, hindi alam kung nasaang lupalop siya ng mundo. Ikaw pa kaya?" komento ni Thea. "Ano? Kaya mo pang hunting-in?"
Ramdam kong nagpigil ng tawa si Fiona at Bella, habang si Lucas naman ay napahawak sa batok niya. "Handa akong tumayo bilang ama ng bata," aniya.
"Ano'ng pinagsasabi mo?" tanong ko sa kaniya, gulat. Nanahimik kaming lahat at nakatitig lang sa kaniya.
"Babae man o lalaki, kamukha mo o kamukha ni ano . . ."
Reign came back with a glass of water. I drank the water carefully and started wiping my tears away. I took a deep breath as they moved a little further away to give me space. "I should tell my parents, right?" I asked them.
"Kapag ready ka na," sagot ni Fiona sa tanong ko.
"Kapag ready na ako," I murmured.
Pagkatapos ng ilang oras, napagdesisyunan ko nang sabihin kina Mommy. Nasa taas ng kama si Reign, tulog, at ang iba ay naglalaro sa sala. Kinakabahan ako sa pagsabi sa kanila na buntis ako. Hindi ko alam ang magiging reaksiyon nila. Feel ko na magagalit sila saakin.
Dahil sa kaba, inuna ko munang sabihan ang mga kapatid ko. Naroon sila sa unit nila at dahil ilang hakbang lang naman ay naroon na ako, pinuntahan ko na sila. Kumatok ako at bumungad sa akin ang kapatid kong babae na may hawak na soft drinks. "Gusto mo?" aniya pa. Umiling ako at umupo sa sofa.
"Who's there?" tanong ni Kyle na kalalabas lang ng kuwarto niya. Napangiti siya kaagad nang makita niya ako. "Oh, Ate! What's up?"
"Just some real sh*t happened. Guess what?" I answered.
"What?" Ayisha asked.
"Well, I am six weeks pregnant," I said, looking at them.
"Congrats, ate!" Kyle greeted, so I thanked him. He went close to my tummy and said, "Hello baby! I am your tito. Oh, no! I'm a tito already! I'm Tito Kyle! I'll give you legos to play!"
On the other hand, Alisha was staring at me, confused. "Wait, you're pregnant?" She asked, and so I nodded. "Is this some kind of joke? Are you bringing a camera or something? Won't you tell us that this is a prank?"
I just stared at her and answered, "It's true, I swear! We just went to a clinic earlier. Even I didn't expect that I am pregnant, Ayisha."
"If you're pregnant, then Kuya Hayden got you pregnant or did another guy do it? He just left though," she again said. I couldn't answer as that is the thing that frustrates me.
