I opened Spotify and found my favourite playlist. I started playing Answer by Tyler the Creator and put my headphones in. I never bought airpods, partly because I couldn't afford them, but mostly cause they always fall out my ears. I looked out the window and felt butterflies as we drove closer to their house.

The uber driver pulled up to the house and we both got out. He helped me pull my suitcase out of the trunk and I tipped him a couple dollars, before he drove off. I dragged my bag along the gravel and stood outside the front door. It was a pretty big house, and it was much hotter here than at home, so the summer parties were gonna be great. Taking a deep breath, I rang the doorbell.

In seconds, the door swung open and Jordan's big smile greeted me.

'MIMIII!!!!!' he shouted, picking me up as I dropped my bag.

'Bitch when did you get so tall??!' I asked as he put me down. 'I remember when you were like four foot tall.'

'shhhhh!' He looked around- 'no one can know!' He joked.

'Come on, lemme get your bag, and I'll take you to your room so you can chill and settle in.'

We walked through the house and I realised quite how big it actually was. There was a massive lounge and I could see an even bigger garden with a pool. We walked up some oak stairs and to the second floor. There was a long corridor going both ways and at least four rooms on both sides. We walked down the left side and Jordan pointed the rooms out to me.

'Ok so in order- this one's Jaden's, that one's Maddy's- but she normally sleeps in my room.'

'Wait which Jaden?' I cut him off.

'Brown haired one- you really gotta find nicknames for everyone soon lol' He laughed.

We walked down to the end of the corridor and he opened a door- 'This is your room, and the one opposite is Vinnie's.'

'Blonde hair' he added with a little smile.

I looked inside and gasped audibly. It was so pretty. There was a huge window looking out onto the garden and a small balcony that would be perfect for late summer nights. The room wasn't huge, but it was bright and had white drapes by the windows. There was a big wooden double bed in the centre and plants all around the room. I ran in and jumped straight onto the bed. Jordan started laughing at me.

'Dude this room's insane!' I exclaimed.

'I'm glad you like it,' He said laughing. 'Imma leave you to unpack and I'll be in the garden making tiktoks if you need me. Vinnie should be around so you can say hi if you want.'

'Ok. Thanks so much for this Jordan- you have no idea how grateful I am.'

'Anytime Mimi,' he said walking out.
