mimi's pov

I woke up the next morning feeling bad for what I said to Vinnie last night. He didn't deserve what I said to him, even if it was true. I threw over a hoodie and some shorts and tiptoed through the hallway. It was still dark out and I didn't wanna wake anyone, but I knew Mads would be up. I creaked the door open and slipped inside.

'Hey,' I whispered. 'You awake?'

'Yeah,' she replied, 'Come crawl inside and cuddle with me.' I slipped under the covers and we stared at the ceiling for about ten minutes in silence.

'Can we talk? I need some advice.' I asked.

'Sure. Shoot.'

'So um, I talked to Jordan last night.'

'Mhm,'

'And uh, we were talking about Vinnie.'

'Ooo, yeah.'

'Not quite.' I laughed wryly. 'He told me to stay away.'

'What? Why?'

'He basically said that Vinnie is a player and he was gonna leave me broken.'

'Man, that's so fucked up. Why should he control who you can date?'

'I know, but he was still trying to look out for me.'

'Yeah. He means well but he's not always right. Jaden used to be like Vinnie and then he met me. I mean obviously things aren't perfect, but we love each other, and he never mistreats me.'

'I want that.' I said sadly.

'You will get it. I promise. Fuck what Jordan says.'

'Yeah you're right Mads. Imma see what I can do.'

Apparently jordan told mimi to stay away from vinnie and that he was only gonna play her. They had a bit of a fight last and shes too scared to talk to him.

Yh sure- I don't think vinnies gonna take it well tho baby

Jaden's pov

I knocked on Vinnie's door.

'What? Who is it?'

'It's Jaden.'

'Yeah come on in.'

I creaked the door open and he spun around, still with his headset on.

'What's up?' He questioned.

'Uh, so Mads told me about your little discussion with Mimi last night.'

'What, her being a bitch?' He said in a serious tone.

'Anyways, apparently Jordan talked to Mimi last night and told her that you were bad news and she needed to stay away.' I explained.

'What the fuck?' He boomed.

'Hey, calm down, I just wanted to tell you.' I know how bad Vinnie's temper got. He had been in so many fights in the past.

'Nahhh the fuck he think he doing tryna mess around with my life like that. Dude needs to learn his place,' he said standing up.

I placed my hands on his shoulders, trying to calm him down, but he was way stronger than me and pushed me straight off.

'Jordan!' He shouted.

'Yeah!' A small voice sounded from downstairs. Vinnie set off down to the kitchen. As I ran after him I saw Mimi stick her head out of her room.

'You should come.' I said, anticipating the situation, hoping she could calm Vinnie down.
