It was 1 pm and you were just getting out of bed after hearing a discord notification. You didn't have to get up but you did when you saw what the message was.

Your mother is yelling at me to tell you to show up to the family reunion at her house in half an hour. I would be telling you if I didn't have to.

It was Josh messaging you. It was bad enough that you woke up feeling like shit and didn't get out of bed until now but now that you have to put up with people you don't want to makes it worse.

You threw on a random shirt tucking it into your sweatpants and a hoodie that matched your pants. You then walked out of your room seeing Anthony in the kitchen downstairs.

You flipped your hood up and walked downstairs wrapping your arms around Reekid, and hugging him from behind.

"Morning sleepy head." The male said gently, smiling but then noticed your behaviour. "You should eat something. I haven't seen you out of bed today till just now.

"I'm not hungry. Also, I'm being forced into going to a family reunion and I was wondering if you could come with me." You said in a quiet tone.

"Love could you speak up I can't hear you." Anthony requested. "I'm not hungry and I was wondering if you could come to a family reunion with me. I really don't wanna show up but I have to." You repeated in a louder tone.

"I can, but are you sure everyone else is going to be okay with it?" He asked. "Who gives a fuck? If anything bad happens I've tolerated it for quite a while and I can do something about it. I just want you there with me." You replied, getting a bit agitated.

"Okay okay." Reekid chuckled, turning around and giving you a hug and a kiss on the forehead. "So do we leave right away?" He wondered.

"We have half an hour so I might just go back to bed." You said letting go of your lover. However, Reekid didn't let go of you. "No, because you might not get up again if you do that. So I'm going to make you something to eat, and then once you eat we can leave." He said letting you go but still holding your left hand.

"Do I have to eat?" You wondered not really wanting to. "Yes. You've been in bed all day so you are eating something."

"But I'm not hungryyyyyyyyyyyyyyy." You whined. "Listen, whether I'm your boyfriend or your friend, I am going to make sure you pick yourself up and don't fall deeper into depression. I don't want to lose you so I'm going to make sure you stay healthy and stay alive." Anthony said keeping you close to him.

"Fine." You sighed then asked, "What are you going to make me eat?"

"How about a simple bowl of noodles?" Reekid wondered. You nodded as he let go of you and went to go make you food.

After you both ate, Anthony changed into clothes that didn't make him look lazy. And you didn't care enough about what you wore.

On the walk there, your anxiety grew so that now you were holding your boyfriend's hand not wanting to let go. "One final thing before we walk in the house if you see Josh there, do not be surprised." You said.

"You are starting to concern me" Anthony commented as you knocked on the door. When your mother opened it, your grip on the male's hand tightened. "Come on in make yourself at home." She said with a smile walking towards the living room. Referring to Reekid when she said 'make yourself at home seeing as you used to live there.

You didn't once believe the smile on her face as the two of you walked in and sat on the couch. At the moment it was just you, Anthony, Josh and your mother because you guys were a few minutes early.

You waited for your mom to leave the room to go to the washroom before saying something. "Must be nice. Dealing with her."

"There have been some times where it goes sideways but it's not so bad," Josh replied. "But I do see why you don't want to be around her."

Anthony kicked his feet up onto the couch and you rested against him on his lap still not letting go of his hand.

"You guys seem happy." The adult smirked. "You were watching my live stream so you don't get to say shit." You replied. "Are you aware it was all because of a game of truth or dare though?" Josh asked.

You looked up at Reekid. "What?" You wondered with the pretty please blink. "Stop with the blinking it's too adorable. And the boys and I were playing truth or dare before that happened." Anthony explained.

"Mully was recording it as well," Josh commented. "What?" Your boyfriend asked looking at Josh sounding pissed off. "Josh you dragged yourself into that one." You commented with a snicker.

"Lovely. But your boyfriend won't do anything about it because you are on top of him, looking very comfortable and he knows you don't want to let go of him so I'm safe for a bit." Josh commented. "I really don't. I don't like a lot of people and I know it's not so bad now, but I know later it's going to be horrible." You explained speaking only half the truth. The other half is the fact that you are terrified of your mother and hate being in your own house.

For the few minutes, your mother was in the bathroom and nobody else showed up yet, you seemed to be doing okay. But once your mother came back downstairs, you were dead silent as you allowed the others to have their own conversation. And whenever someone did ask you a question, you only responded if you were spoken to directly which concerned both Josh and Reekid.
