I look at her, like really look at her. She's strong now, I think it took me breaking her to figure out what she could do, and how strong she could be. I looked over at her, she shut the door. Looking back at me, she pinches the bridge of her nose together. I look back at her, wanting to know where this newfound confidence came from.

"We need to talk!" She said forcefully, annoyance clear in her voice. I tilt my head to the side in confusion. "Talk about what?" I ask her, "Your whore!" She exclaims. "My...what?"

"Your whore!" She starts to say. "Rosalina came to my house today, she didn't threaten me, but there was an underlying tone in her voice. She told me to leave, because I'm an attention-seeking whore, that no one wants around," She says with a small frown. "And you're telling me this, why?" I ask her. "Because she's your plaything, either keep her on a tighter leash or let her go. Next time she comes into my house, it's not going to be so pretty." She flips her hair over her shoulder, walking out of the room, her hips slightly swaying to the rhythm of her steps. My eyes stick to her backside.

Before I can think of what I'm doing, I spring up off my bed. Grabbing her wrists, I spin her around. Pressing her against the wall, I kiss her. I kiss her in a way I haven't since after she told me she was expecting. I pin her hands above her head, "Don't walk away from me," I whisper my lips in her ear, I feel her shiver beneath me. I give her pepper-light kisses down her neck to her collarbone and then up again. She bites her lip tossing her head back, her eyes fluttering close. I kiss her lips again, I lift her legs up and they wrap around my waist. I lock the door, my lips never leaving hers, then we fall on the bed, clothes and articles flying. I kiss down her neck, nipping at the smooth skin there. Her eyes roll back into her head, her body arching out. The familiarity of her body only drove me further.

I feel the sunlight hitting my face. I nuzzle into the thing next to me further, when my arms go around the thing, hugging it tighter to me. No sound comes from it, my arms going tighter, but I'm met with something hard. I peck my eyes open to see that Luvie has disappeared. I don't know how to feel about that, I sit up rubbing my hands over my face. Back to old times. I felt a pressure on my chest, I thought this was a step towards something more, something new. Guess not, I got up running my hands through my hair. I sighed, I found the sheets moved, exposing me. I shuddered at the sudden hit of air on my bare body.

When I finally showered and went down for breakfast, not bothering with appearances. I looked at the time, ten past twelve. I sighed, she probably left before then. I stuff my face quickly, "Hey, mom have you talked to Luvie recently?" I ask her. She tilts her head, "She left late last night with the twins. Why?" I just shook my head. "Um... no reason I was just wondering if you had."

"Why? Have an explanation of why she was crying last night?" I shake my head. "I don't know." My mom just looks at me, rolling her eyes. "If I were you, I might want to figure out what you did, if you want anything to do with the twins and her." My brother says.

"Yeah, probably," I say, I go upstairs grabbing my keys. When I come back down Kent just looks at me. "Don't do anything relatively stupid!" He yells, "Wouldn't dream of it!" I yell back.

When I arrive at Luvie's parents' house I knock on the door. Keith opens it, "Luv! You got trash at the door. Do something with it."

"What?" I hear her ask, "No. I don't have trash at the door, you were the last one to take the trash ou-" She just looks at me, I could see a hickey on her neck from last night. She looks at her fuzzy penguin socks feet, "What do you want?" Her body was leaning against the doorway. "I want to know why you left."

"So?" I stuff my hands in my pockets rolling my eyes at her.

"Can we go somewhere that isn't in front of your house for all to see?" I ask her. She nods, leading me inside the house and up the stairs to her room. She opens the door, I see the twins on her floor. She leans down to their height. "Can you go downstairs to play? Daddy and I need to talk. They look up noticing I'm here, "Daddy!" Allen, I think his name is, runs up to me. I pick him up, a grin on my face. "Hey, buddy. What can I do for you?" I ask him, he leans in whispering in my ear. "If you hurt Mommy we're both going to kill you."

My eyebrows shoot up, looking over at a giggling Alek. "Is that true?" I ask the two of them. "Uncle Eric told us to say that." He says smiling. "Oh really?" He nods. "Now I and Mommy need to talk, we'll be down in a minute," I tell the giggling boys as they run out chasing on another. "What was that about?" Luvie asked, "Nothing, just boys being boys." I say sitting down beside her on the bed.

"So why did you leave?"

"I realized this was a mistake." She said with a defiant nod.

"What was a mistake?" I ask her. "Us," she said with a frown. "What do you mean?" I was confused. "Sleeping with you, again. It was a mistake."
"No! I refuse to believe that. Are you saying you don't feel anything, anything at all?" I ask her to stand up. Then sitting back down, trying to contain my disbelief. "Well..." I could sense the hesitation in her voice. "No. Nothing at all?" She sounded like she was asking herself a question. "Liar," I whisper right below her ear. I give her a small peck right below her ear, "If that is the truth, push me away. Push me away right now." I murmur, moving her body into my lap. Her hands go up, coming to my shoulders then tangling into my dark curls. "Tell me. Tell me don't you want me. Can't stand me, never need me. Tell me to leave right now, never come back. I say kissing the skin of her neck, my hands gripping her thighs. She looks at me, "I-I don't ne-need yo--"

"You've always been a terrible liar," I say, this time pecking her lips. She rests her forehead against mine, sighing. "Go on a date with me, let me prove to you I'm worth your time. That I can be the man you need, and a husband to your-- no our --kids. Let me."

"Okay." She breathes out, "You have one date to prove yourself." I look at her, my eyebrows raise. "No, not one date. Until you realize you don't need or want me. Until then."

"What do you mean then? I need a time and a date."

"No, I'll pick you when it's time I don't need you overthinking this. I tell you it's next week sometime."

"Fine." She says with a sigh. "Until then."

"Until then," I say with a smile.
