chapter 15

Ngl I am lowkey simping for Mai she is rlly cool and I have so much planned for her character.Anyway at this point I realise that Alex has like zero male  friends....I promise this isn't a harem.Anyyyywayyyy maybe I will introduce a male character somewhere along the line but for now I wanna focus on moving this story along it's kinda just stuck in this one place eh.Who are yall simping for ?Also if your wondering why it has a lot of Shouko pov this story is pretty much in Shouko pov the only reason it isn't fully in hers is because when I started I LITERALY had no idea how this story was even going to go I was just bored but eh here we are 😌.Ok this is getting really long let's get in to the story.

Shouko pov:
"Yo Shouko?"
I jump my pen flinging to the other side of the classroom.
" crap."
"Don't sweat it I have a spare."
I turn to my pink haired science partner and take the pen she offers, I thank her and turn back to my notes, trying to understand the clump of ink on my page. The class is unusually quiet but everything is pretty much zoned out as I try to focus on the test for next lesson.
"Um don't freak out but Yknow that pen you just flinged landed straight on Yen sans head,"Mai mumbles keeping her head down.
I look up and realize the whole class is looking between me and Amelia Yen expecting a whole row. Not making eye contact with the girl in question yet I avert my attention to the front of the class to hopefully be saved by the teacher but to my disappointment sir has left to get books. Meeting my fate I look to my right to see the absolutely seething Yen san as she stares daggers at me.
Haha- shit.
I hear a crack and notice she has snapped the pen in half.
God I really liked that pen.
"You have got a lot of nerve Sakura, "she practically whispers using a harsh emphasis on my last name for effect.
"Look yen san I didn't mean to I just jumped because Mai surprised me,"     
"Wa- Shouko dont get me into it ." She says loudly breaking the tense silence in the air.
A boy in the back laughs but then covers it quickly realizing his mistake.
"I see how it is Sakura your trying to humiliate me aren't you ?"
"No not really."
She was about to reply when our teacher walked into the classroom and everyone went back to their notes. I refuse to lift my head up to look at the seething girl but I nudge Mais arm.
"Yeah what up?"
"Who was that boy in the back I have no idea who he is."
"I think his name is Kazuto Fukushima, he doesn't take notes or anything but pretty much aces every test he hates sports and people... He has like no friends."
"I only asked his name holly shit are you like some kind of archive or something ?"
"You could say I am a mastermind"Mai says smugly moving her eyebrows up and down rather smugly .
I roll my eyes looking back to my science notes.

"You did what?" Alex says eyes in surprise .Mariam's loud laughs in the background.
"That, my friend means you have a death wish, "Mariam manages to wheeze out before returning back to her fit of laughter.
I make a pouty face but then end up laughing with every one else.
"Wait till Jiki hears about this she won't shut up about it for days probably throw a party," he says scoffing to himself.
"Jiki would do something like that ," Mai agrees.
We all walk down the street on the way to Jiki sweetshop which had become a regular for us every day for the last two weeks. It has been the first time trying Boba it was an interesting experience.

"Just try it!"Shojiki says pushing the green drink towards me.

"What the heck is this stuff?"i say peering at the drink questionably the tapioca balls floating slightly at the bottom.

"You so stubborn Sho chan!"she says poutily hoisting her bum onto the counter as it was a Monday and it was closed for no apparent reason. Her tight skirt tightened around her thighs and rode up as she sat their and i saw Mai tense up next to me.I turned to her as she went bright red.

....is she sick?

I eyed her worriedly as she sank back into her chair as Alex and Mariam shout a random k pop song at the top of their lungs.

"You guys know your Japanese right?"

"Not fully "they both say in unison.

Yea thats right Alex and Jiki are half Korean whilst Mariam is half Egyptian.

Still doesn't explain it since they both cant even speak Korean.

I roll my eyes exasperatedly taking my eyes away from them and on the green drink I get the straw and pierce the top film taking a long suck on the straw. The slimy tapioca pearls slip into my mouth they are chewy with not taste but he drink flavors them. The green drink told by Jiki chan was called matcha.I was never a fan of sweet things so i liked it.I looked up giving Jiki a smile making her beam.

It was still around 5o clock as i trudged my way home. The sun was setting into a beautiful glow. I breathe a sigh of joy as i take in the stains of orange and pink spreading over the horizon. That when it was interrupted by an all to familiar face. I let out a low growl as i shuffled feet to meet her annoying eyes.

"Amelia Yen."

Is this a cliff hanger? I tried is the story getting boring because there is literally no development ehhhhhhh sorry guys it will get better i promise!!! Anyway sorry i have been gone for so long and hope your all having a great day hopefully this chapter wasn't to short. :)
