Chapter 10: The 1 on 1's Begin!

Kya's POV-

I had successfully made it to my destination without any more interruptions. Halfie-nee and I were sitting in the waiting room for the waiting rooms. The first round was about to start, and the match was going to be Broccoli-kun against Turnip-kun. Halfie-nee decided it would be easier to watch the match up from our classes assigned seating area. I hopped up onto his shoulders and we made it up to the seats just in time for the match to start.

I was excited on how this was going to turn out as Broccoli-kun was basically going into this fight blind. If he resists answering any taunts Turnip-kun throws his way he might actually have a chance. That is when Turnip-kun said something I should not have been able to hear from where I was sitting. ( I love advanced senses ) "You know, your class is not half bad. If only you guys weren't so reckless, you might've amounted to something.¨ I could tell from all the way over here that Turnip-kun was lying through his teeth but I don't think Broccoli-kun knows that based on the way I heard him breathe in after that statement.

This is when Broccoli-kun snapped. He only got a small response out before being put under control. Turnip-kun then just said plainly to walk out of the arena. It would have been smarter and better to tell Broccoli-kun to forfeit, but if he wants to take that chance so be it. It was sudden, but out of nowhere I felt a surge of energy come from Broccoli-kun and I looked closer at him to find that he had just broken two fingers when he was on the edge of the out of bounds line.

Turnip-kun's face went from void of emotion to full of shock and excitement. Broccoli-kun then charged full speed at Turnip-kun and they started to grapple with one another. Their maneuvers were sloppy but it did not matter as they were both inexperienced with combat.

After a while Turnip-kun was finally pushed out of the arena after all of their struggling. He fell down on his behind looking ashamed of himself. After a while of staring Broccoli-kun extended a hand down to the fallen boy. There was a silent exchange of words before Turnip-kun accepted Broccoli-kun's offer of help up.

The next match was basically over in a second. Halfie-nee just sent a huge glacier at Tapey-kun and he had no time to react. Tapey-kun had to yield as he was stuck in the ice and couldn't move even his pinky finger. Halfie-nee is super strong! They had to wait for Halfie-nee's ice to melt and then had to wait for the leftover water to evaporate.

After the water had evaporated it was Alien-chan's and Invis-chan's turn to go against one another. It was clear who the winner was going to be before the match even started. Invis-chan's quirk was not suited for a 1 on 1 battle, especially against a quirk like Alien-chan's quirk. Alien- chan just threw a tiny bit of acid so as to not hurt Invis-chan and she immediately yielded. It was a tactful move on her part, but I am sad to report that Invis-chan came off the battle arena with a frown.

The next match-up was an interesting one in my opinion. As much as I don't like Big Boobs, I had to admit she has quite a good chance against Emo-kun if she plays her cards right. If you had ever studied Emo-kun before he has two weird opposing habits. One is that he does not like to be in absolute darkness for obvious reasons. Then there is another one that most people do not pick up on. Emo-kun tries not to expose Dark Shadow- chan to bright and harsh lights. I had once got super excited and I sparked up around him and Dark Shadow- chan. He then asked me to calm down a bit when Dark Shadow- chan reacted negatively. He told me that Dark Shadow- chan does not do well around bright and sudden lights.

I looked back up as I was looking down and playing with my fingers to find that Big Boobs was on total defense. I was right to assume that she did not pick up on Emo-kun's weakness. Dark Shadow-chan came out and swiftly and gently pushed Big Boobs out of bounds. Dark Shadow- chan is almost too nice, but it is good to know that he is a separate being to Emo-kun's.

I looked up at the board to see who was going next. It was Robot-kun and a girl that I did not know. After watching thirty seconds of this match I knew that it was going nowhere and I could just walk down to the waiting arena and prepare for my first match. Halfie-nee was back at this point and asked if I wanted him to walk me down. I said yes, so we walked down together. Once we had reached the waiting room number 1 Halfie-nee bent down and gave me a pat on the head and wished me good luck I smiled up at him and waved to him as he walked out of the room. I sat down on the ground and started to meditate.

Denki POV-

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHOT! It had to be Kya that I was going up against? Bakugou had told me she ripped somebody's heart out and no blood came out of the wound! AND SHE SAID OOPS!? I mean that has to be a huge red flag that is flashing and bold and big and stuff! Like super scary man!

AND!! She has Todoroki wrapped around her finger and he will kill me if I lay a hand on her. OH SHIT.... oh shit.... oh sheeeeet.
