Mom parked the car and we all got out and Daniel and I walked away from Esther.
"Have a good day." My mom said and Daniel and I smiled in response.
"Daniel. Your books." I heard my mom say and both Daniel and I looked back to see mom coming towards us and Daniel's books on the floor. We both went down the steps. Mom inspected Daniel's backpack while I just stood there.
"What happened? We just bought this." My mom complained.
"Pick it up it's gonna get wet." My mom said and I picked up one of the books and handed it to her. As mom was putting the books back I looked to the road to see the car going back.
"Mom." Daniel and I said at the same time as we shook her. Mom turned around and saw the car.
"Max! Max!" Mom shouted as she chased after the car.
"No! Help!" Mom shouted as she pointed at the car. I saw some gut try to stop the car but unfortunately he fell. I watched the scene with fear. I knew Esther did it. She was walking away from the car and I remember the car being properly parked. The car went to the snow and stopped. Max was okay which had me relieved. I shot Esther a look of disgust.
I walked through the halls with Daniel as we tried to find our friend group.
"I'm gonna ask Max if Esther did it." I told Daniel. "I will too." Daniel replied causing me to smile.

It was about 8:00 and Daniel and I decided to ask Max. We both slowly went through the halls and then ran to Max's room.
"Max are you okay?" Daniel asked and I said are you okay? in sign language.
"What did she do?" Daniel asked.
"Did she do something to make the car crash?" I asked.
"If you saw her you have to help us so mom and dad can protect ." Daniel told Max and I nodded signing everything he was saying just in case. I then saw Max use sign language to say 'they can't help us.'
"She said they can't help us." I informed Daniel. Daniel then looked to Max.
"Why not?" He asked.
Max turned around and grabbed some of her drawings and handed it to Daniel and I. I took half of the pictures and so did Daniel. I looked at one and it had Brenda on the ground bleeding with Esther standing by the slide.
"Is that sister Abigail?" I heard Daniel ask causing me to look at the picture he was holding. It had Esther standing over a body with a hammer in her hands. Max nodded and I went back to my pile. I looked and saw a picture of Esther and Max in the tree house with something red.
"Max what did she do in the tree house?" I asked eagerly showing her the picture. Max did sign language so I translated it to Daniel. "She said Esther put the bad things in there."
"Are the bad things still there?" Daniel asked and Max nodded yes.
"Everything's gonna be okay. Cassie and I will get the stuff from the tree house then they'll have to believe us.
