Chapter Eighteen

Three weeks went by and Nick and Brizee officially started dating as did Emily and AJ. The guys convinced Brizee to open for them and Emily convinced her to get a record deal. Brizee sat in Emily's dressing room writing some songs. Nick came in and sat down and kissed her cheek.

"What do you think?" Brizee asked showing him what she wrote. He looked at it and looked at her and smiled.

"You are a very talented songwriter," Nick said.

"You think so?" Brizee asked.

"This has to be the best song I've seen written, better than the ones me and the guys wrote," Nick said.

"I don't want to outdo you guys," Brizee said putting the song away.

"You won't, the guys know you are talented, the song you wrote for your mom proves it," Nick said.

"I just don't want to be more popular that you guys," Brizee said.

"Don't worry about that, Briz, it's up to the world who they like more, we have no control over it," Nick said.

"I don't want you guys to hate me for it," Brizee said. Nick cupped her face in his hands and kissed her passionately.

"We couldn't hate you if we even wanted to, we all care about you, and Emily," Nick said.

"Thanks," Brizee said. He smiled and kissed her softly. The kiss deepened and he pulled her to him. She moved to where she was straddling his lap.He pulled back and looked into her eyes.

"Briz," Nick said.

"Just kiss me, Nick, we can talk later," Brizee said. Nick smiled and kissed her deeply. She rested her hands on his shoulders and then wrapped her arms around him. He held her close to him and she felt him against her leg and pulled back.

"Oh god," Brizee said. She quickly got up and ran out the door. She went into the bathroom and leaned against the wall. Emily came in.

"Briz, what happened," Emily said.

"Oh god, Em, Nick and I were kissing, it was so amazing," Brizee said. Emily stood next to her.

"What happened," Emily said.

"We were making out, I was in his lap and I felt him against my leg and I ran into here, I'm so stupid, Em, I just wanted to rip his clothes off," Brizee said.

"Briz, if you aren't ready, just talk with him," Emily said.

"Who knows what he thinks now," Brizee said.

"He is outside waiting for you," Emily said. Brizee went out the door and saw Nick standing there looking at her. He hugged her. She rested her head on his chest. They went to his dressing room and closed the door.

"I'm sorry for running like that," Brizee said.

"I know why you did, it was moving too fast for you, yeah, I got turned on, and you did that, but it didn't need to go any further, you don't have to be scared, I will not do anything you are not ready for," Nick said. Brizee smiled and hugged him.

"Thank you," Brizee said.

"I have a question," Nick said.

"Yes, I've slept with a guy before, I do have an ex, his name is Adam, we parted as friends because the relationship wasn't working and the love was gone, I'm over him, been for a couple years now," Brizee said. Nick smiled and hugged her.

"Brizee, I love you, I know we just started but it feels like I have known you forever, I've fallen for you big time," Nick said.

"I feel the same way, Nick, I love you, too," Brizee said. Nick grinned and kissed her deeply and hugged her.
