Chapter Three

That night, the show went on and Brian watched Brizee and Nick dance together and smiled on how well they performed the moves. After the show, they went to the hotel. Brizee walked into her room that she shared with Emily. She showered and put her pjs on and came out and saw Brian, Emily and AJ on the couch. She sat down next to Brian and he put his arms around her.

"Briz, I got a call from Mom, she and your dad are coming to meet us here," Emily said.

"Why," Brizee said.

"Probably to make sure her plan is working, I told her not to bother because the plan is dead and never going to happen but she insists on coming to see us," Emily said.

"Just perfect," Brizee said rolling her eyes.

"They want to come make sure the plan is going," AJ said.

"Yeah," Emily said.

"The plan is never going to happen anyways," Brizee said.

"AJ, I don't care about the plan, like I said, all I want is to be with you," Emily said. AJ hugged her.

"How soon will they be here?" Brizee asked.

"Anytime now," Emily said. There was a knock at the door. Emily got up and opened the door and saw her mother and stepfather standing there. They came in. Brizee stood up and looked at her father and stepmother.

"Why are you guys here," Brizee said.

"Is that any way to talk to your father," Brad said.

"Since when have you been my father, ever since you married Elizabeth, me and Emily don't exist, Elizabeth went as far to tell Emily that her plan is to seduce AJ and marry him, was that plan for me, too?" Brizee asked.

"How is the plan coming along," Elizabeth said looking at her daughter.

"Me and AJ are together, we are taking things slow, Mom, that plan is never going to happen, I am not going to do anything that will hurt AJ or do anything you say anymore, I told you that I wasn't going to do it, as soon as the tour is over, me and Brizee are moving out, we are done with the both of you, we will move out of the house and won't be a problem for you two anymore!" Emily said. She went into the bedroom and closed the door. AJ and Brian looked at each other.

"After everything we've been through, you see me as a problem, don't you," Brizee said.

"Brizee," Brad said.

"No, Dad, although I'm glad you are with Elizabeth because it got me a sister, but she is not Mom, okay, no one can be Mom, you act like you don't miss her at all!" Brizee said.

"Brizee, that's not true, I will always love your mother, I had to move on," Brad said.

"That means ignoring me, huh," Brizee said.

"No, Brizee, I'm sorry, for ignoring you, I never meant to, it's just that it's been over nine years since we lost your mother and I wanted to move on and you look so much like her, I just couldn't handle being around you and not being able to move on," Brad said.

"But I am your daughter, your only child!" Brizee cried. Brad looked at Elizabeth and walked over to Brizee and took her into his arms and held her. Brizee held onto her father and cried.

"I know, you are the most important person in my life, you are my daughter, a part of me, I never will ignore you again, I want to be the best father possible," Brad said. Elizabeth went to the bedroom and knocked on the door. Emily opened it and saw her mother. Elizabeth hugged her.

"I'm so sorry, Emily, I want to be the best mother possible for you," Elizabeth said.

"Then no more plans, Mom, let me live how I want," Emily said.

"As long as you let me be your mother again, I have no problem at all," Elizabeth said. Emily hugged her.

"Dad, this is Brian," Brizee said. Brian stood up and shook his hand.

"You take good care of my daughter, Brian," Brad said shaking his hand. Brian nodded.

"Yes, sir," Brian said. Emily introduced AJ to her mother.

"You take good care of my daughter and help Brian take care of my stepdaughter," Elizabeth said.

"Yes, ma'am," AJ said.

"So how long are you two staying?" Brizee asked.

"Well, we want to see the show tomorrow night, so we thought we would join the tour until the show is over and head home, if that's okay?" Elizabeth said.

"That's great, Brizee just became a backup dancer for the guys," Emily said.

"Really?" Elizabeth said. Nick, Kevin, and Howie came in and Emily quickly introduced them to the guys.

"Yeah, Nick's dance partner had to quit because she found out she was pregnant so she couldn't dance anymore so they were one dancer short and I said I would do it, it's really fun, though," Brizee said.

"And she is amazing, she and Nick work good as a team onstage, I watched them tonight and it was like they've been dancing together for years, she was a quick learner," Brian said.

"Well, do you guys have a room?" Emily asked.

"Yeah, it's down the hall," Elizabeth said.

"We leave at eight in the morning, you guys can ride on the bus with us," Kevin said.

"Okay," Brad said.

"See you all in the morning, goodnight," Elizabeth said hugging Emily. Brad hugged Brizee and they went out the door.
