Chapter Fifteen

Three weeks later, Brizee learned she was pregnant and she told Nick and he was very happy and excited. She recorded an album and went on tour for six months. She began hiding her pregnancy under baggy shirts and she found out that dancing is good exercise for her but she did not do the usual moves that she did. Nick was with her as were Emily and AJ. After the tour was over, they all returned home and Brizee went and laid down to rest. Nick laid down with her.

"Wow, that tour was amazing, sold out concerts, did you hear everyone, they loved the songs and the shows," Brizee said.

"You are a hit, baby," Nick said kissing her forehead. He rested his hand on her stomach.

"And no one even noticed my stomach, these baggy shirts really hid it, at the end of the tour, there was no questions about it," Brizee said.

"I love you," Nick said.

"I love you, too," Brizee said. He kissed her and they went to sleep.

Three months later, Brizee and Nick came home with their baby girl, Alicia Jane Carter. Brizee laid her down in her crib and they watched her sleep. Nick kissed her forehead.

"Thank you for our baby girl," Nick said.

"And thank you for our baby girl," Brizee said. They stood there watching her sleep. Brizee went to rest while Nick stood there watching his daughter sleep. Jane and Bob quietly came in.

"Hey honey," Jane said.

"Hey Mom," Nick said.

"How's our little girl," Jane whispered.

"Sleeping like an angel, isn't she beautiful," Nick said.

"She is very beautiful," Jane said.

"Mom, we named her after you, we decided, her name is Alicia Jane Carter," Nick said. Jane smiled and hugged him.

"Thank you," Jane said.

"You are her grandmother," Nick said.

"I can't wait to spend time with her," Jane said.

Sixteen years went by. Nick and Brizee had two more kids, a son born two years after Alicia, his name is Jason Robert Carter, and a daughter born two years after Jason, her name is Emma Marie Carter. Alicia came home from school with Jason and Emma.

"Mom, Dad, guess what," Alicia said.

"What, honey," Brizee said.

"I'm in a band!" Alicia said.

"A band," Nick said.

"Yeah, me, Heather, Jake, Tony, and Mark, we call ourselves the Dreamers," Alicia said.

"Really," Brizee said.

"We are going to practice, we have a gig at Heather's dad's restaurant," Alicia said.

"When?" Nick asked.

"Friday night, and Dad, you have to be there, I wrote a song just for you," Alicia said.

"You did," Nick said.

"Yeah, you have always been there for me, Jason, and Emma, you are an awesome father, we love you," Alicia said hugging him. Jason and Emma hugged them. Brizee smiled.

"Okay, I'll be there," Nick said.

On Friday night, the band was setting up. Brian, Leighanne, their son, Baylee, AJ, Emily, their daughter Jessica, Howie, Leigh, their son, James, Kevin, Kristin, their son Mason, Brizee, Nick, Jason, and Emma were there sitting there.
