"Father." Arthit said coldly. His father opened the door to let his son enter. The show is on. He entered the house, walking pass his father.

He feels his phone vibrate inside his pocket. He walks past his father and quickly gets his phone to check on the message.

📱Kongpob🌝:
'Be strong and be careful, i love you baby.'

He smiles softly at his phone screen for a second before he puts on his cold stern face again, he quickly puts his phone back in his pocket as he walked through.

"How was your trip?" his father asked, following his son to inside the house. Arthit felt a little scared. Did he know? Did he find out? But how?

"It was great." he answered. Not letting his fear and nervousness get the best of him.

They were now near the living room and Arthit dropped whatever bag he was holding when he saw the frail figure seated on one of the chairs.

"That's great to hear that you enjoyed your trip. What about your boyfriend? Kongpob Suthiluck?"

"Third!" Arthit exclaimed, rushing towards his friend who was too tired to even raise a finger, not minding the question that was asked by his father. Ofcourse the old fucker knew. Arthit scanned and searched for bruises and injuries as his father was chuckling evily behind him.

"What did you do!?" Arthit fumed. Turning his head abruptly at his old man.

"What did I do? Nothing much. Slapped him and stuff. Just the common things people do to sissies and faggots."

"You bastard!" Arthit raised his hand. Attempting to punch his father. But the old man was fast enough to grab him and slap him before he could.

"Lay one hand on me and you and your friends will end up just like your mother." the old man threatened.

"What did you do to her? Where is she!?" Arthit wasn't too fond of his mother because she always let the old man beat him up and do things against him. It was like as if his mother was deaf to anyone else other than her own husband. Just like a slave. It was sad and petty. But Arthit doesn't hold that much grudges towards the woman. As he knew that she only did whatever it was she did because of fear. She did those things to survive.

"You said you let her go!" Arthit added, retrieving his hand from his father's grasp.

"Oh I did. I did let her go. I let her go and she went straight to hell."

"You're sick and disgusting." Arthit said, returning his attention to Third. His father scoffed.

"Me? Disgusting? If only you weren't my ticket to that partnership with Khun Weerayut, I would've killed you. You worthless little slut. How good is that Suthiluck in bed? Look at all those marks. You thought I didn't notice them? Faggots like you and your friend belong in hell. Look at these." His father took out pictures from inside the of his suit. He threw them on the floor in front of Arthit. The young man suddenly felt cold seeing those photos. It was him and Kongpob, some photos with his friends, but most of them were of him and his lover when they were in Phuket and Koh Samui.

"If you think those are beautiful, think again. How fucking disgusting." His father said, pointing at the photos scattered on the floor.

Arthit was fuming in anger. Why do people like his father even exist? But he chose to ignore his father's words. What was more important to him right now was his best friend's well-being.

"Oh and don't worry about your friend. I just injected my new drug on him. He won't die and make it to your wedding. Congrats boy. You're almost married. You better get yourself ready, you have one day to prepare yourself for your marriage. Give me grandchildren who aren't disgusting and worthless faggots like you. Okay? Guards, bring these sluts to Arthit's room." his father ordered. The guards working like robots followed their boss' command and brought the two friends to the said room.

"Third I'm so sorry. I'm so so sorry." Arthit said, his tears flowing endlessly as he held his bestftiend around his arms.

"I-it's okay." Third replied with the last amounts of strength he had left. The drug injected on him wearing out but drained him and his strength.

Arthit sobbed harder.

"Kong.."

MEANWHILE

"They gave him the drug." a worried voice says as he entered the room filled with computer screens. Two of his friends already gathered around the said room. Watching the heartbreaking scene of a pale boy crying as he held on to his best friend's almost unconscious body.

"Yeah. We know." one of the boys replied. His eyes fixed on the screen. Seems like their plan and preparations need to work faster.

"Khun Ronajpat doubled the house security. Also, Kao said he's contacted the guards on Knot's and Toota's places. They're doing okay. I've sent extra security just in case."

Khai hits his fist on the table beside him.

"It's my fault. I didn't get there in time. I'm so worthless. If only I got there earlier." he says. His friends only gave him sorry looks.

"What about his brother?" Kong asks, eyes still fixed on the screen.

"He was at his brother's office when the abduction occurred so he's safe. Kao already went his way to pick him up." Pete answers, grabbing a chair from the back and opened the file he came in with. Reading through the contract and some documents inside it.

"The new drug.." Khai says. His head buried on his hands. "what does it do again?"

Pete sighs and puts down the files he was holding.

"During the first hour, you'll feel so hyped up and full of energy. As if you're going hysterical. Once you've reached the peak of its effect, it'll drain all your energy and start to trigger your unconscious mind. Bringing up the worst memories, the ones that you buried deep inside your mind. The host will experience the worst series of nightmares until the drug fully wears off." he explains, his eyes now focused on the beaten figure on the screen that Arthit had laid on his bed. He hopes his friends are okay.

Third must have been through the first phase of the drug's effect. Meaning, he was going down from the high, and be pulled back down by gravity to hell.

Knock knock knock

Faint knocks could be heard from the door, making everyone turn their heads. They see Kao standing with a worried look.

"How are they?" Kao asks as he entered the room. Looking at the computer screen that displayed Arthit's room.

"Not fine." Khai replies. "Where's Tine?" he asks.

"He's in the common room with his brother's secretary."

"Why is the secretary here?" Pete asks, standing up from his seat and walked towards his husband. Kao sighs and explains.

"Well, when I told Tine about the situation and asked him to come with me: the dude was all like 'how can we be sure that you're not here to kidnap Tine too?' the kid was annoying so I made him come too. Anyways, they're waiting. Come on."

Kao and Pete went out of the room first. Leaving the other two men behind, their eyes still fixed on the figures on the computer screens. The love of their lives suffering right before their eyes. It was an unbearable scene. But they had to endure the pain first. 'I will save you.' both men said inside their minds.
