Chapter 3: Mr Brown Eyes

At the end of the speech of the Principal, which her name was called, Catarina Da Silva, has announced the school to make their exit row by row. On their way out from the assembly room, Melinda and her colleagues were walking side by side, laughing, giggling, and talking to one another, until Melinda accidentally pumped on something hard, and fell on the ground, touching her chest when she fell. Regaining her vision and checking if her chest was fine, she immediately went looking for the diary that she had in her hands and when she saw that it was a few inches away, she crawled herself there. As she touched her diary, she saw another set of hands also on the diary, and in front of her, was the most amazing set of brown eyes boy she has ever seen. Getting herself back to the diary, she and the brown eyes boy lifted themselves at the same time, still holding the diary and looking at each other. So to break the tension between them, the boy has released his hands from the diary and she gently received the diary, into her hands. Melinda told him the most gentle, sweet thank you to him, and in return, the boy smiled at her. Around them, the whole room was starring and surprised at what just happened.

A few moments later, all of the students were going to their classes and starting their first period. Entering their register class, Melinda and her friends were giggling, laughing, and smiling asking her what she happened, and who was that boy that pumped against her. What they did not know was that Mr. Brown eyes, was attending the same class as them, so the whole classroom was astonished and coughing, just to not recall what just happened a few moments earlier. For Melinda, she felt so super nervous and had a rose moment around her checks bones, and colleagues were asking her if she was okay, what happened, who did she pump, and so on. She took a long breath, and finally spoke up to Daphne, saying, "My diary fell when I accidentally pumped onto someone, so I am fine." According to the curious, funny look by Daphne, she asked her, "Are you sure you are okay, 'cause your face and your smiles say something else!" Surprised by the statement that Daphne gave to Melinda, she started to laugh and said, "No, it's nothing like that, I mean he is cute and all that, but no, my mind and the moment was very tense for me". In Melinda's thoughts, all she could think about was the brown eyes boy, the long 5 to 10 minutes staring gaze, and his smile. She was literally over the clouds but bringing herself back to planet Earth, she was wondering what was his name... will she ever know?

Their register teacher, which by her name was Miss Hill, gave them their timetables from Monday to Friday, and reminded them that this week was presentation week, she also advised her learners to be open and do not be shy to ask questions, say their suggestions, and many more. After the exit speech from Miss Hill, everyone from the classroom was heading out to go to their next period. Melinda and her colleagues, always like walking side by side, one of them asked her how she was feeling, and if she was still shocked about what happened. Therefore, Melinda answered her, saying, "To be honest, I still feel surprised and butterflies when thinking about it, but the question on my mind, is how he is feeling and if I may ask him if he is okay and all that, so yea." All that the girls could think of Melinda has the chance to ask him, but let us see what happens, so what they said was, "Okay, you can go ahead and check on him, Mel". Melinda was so excited to find out and talk to him about that awkward moment because if she did not, she would become so nervous. So Melinda had a plan.
