Y/N POV

I suddenly felt someone put an arm around my shoulder and pulling me into his embrace, who is it?

I looked to the side and saw Taehyung, looking at me with sad eyes. I didn't expect him to sit next to me, or to care all of a sudden. Why was he here? Did he follow me?

"Taehyung? W-what are y-you d-doing here?" I asked him whilst sobbing.

He looked at me with apologetic eyes and shifted his gaze towards the ground, staying silent. He seemed to be contemplating something, but I couldn't quite figure out what it was as his gaze wasn't within my vision.

"I was walking down the corridor and saw you, you looked very upset and I decided to check up on you" He explained.

I stayed silent. Wasn't he upset with me? He screamed at me this morning and now he is here, checking up on me. I was confused right now, it almost feels like he cares to be completely honest.

"I thought you were upset with me after this morning, why would you care if I'm upset Taehyung?" I asked him, trying to figure out what he was thinking.

He looked up and stared me in my eyes. To be honest, I couldn't quite figure out what he was thinking beyond those glasses. He seemed to be confused about my statement, like he was replaying all of the events that took that place this morning inside of his bright head.

"To be honest, I was..." He said.

"I thought you just used me for your own gain, that you didn't care, but I've been thinking about it and it may have been something I said in the heat of the moment" He said, starting to explain himself.

"I'm sorry Y/N, I should have been more thankful, you stood up for me when no one else did..." he said.

I looked at him, why is he thankful, I didn't stand up for him, I just stopped Seokjin from hurting him more than he already did. He had every right to be mad at me, especially considering what happened in the cafeteria just now.

"I heard what Yoongi told you in class, but I don't think that way about you, I just didn't want you to see me in that state..." he explained.

I was quite shocked. He just didn't want me to see him getting bullied?

"How long has this really been going on Taehyung?" I asked. He sighed

"A few years... most people in school know they tease me, but they don't know they actually beat me up when I'm alone, I guess Seokjin didn't think you would intervene" he explained.

"He didn't expect that indeed, he asked me about it just now which is why I got upset in the first place" I explained, leaving out the part where I lied and said I didn't care.

"Did he say something to upset you?" Taehyung asked me concerned.

"Oh no don't worry about it, it's just that I like him and was scared that he wasn't interested in me after I shouted at him today" I explained to him.

To be honest, I don't really know why I'm telling Taehyung all of this. I just feel comfortable around him, besides, I don't think he would tell anyone about this, he seems to trust me as well.

"Well, you're still talking to me after I shouted at you today, so I guess you will be fine!" Taehyung said trying to cheer me up.

I looked at him and smiled, although I can't help but feel slightly worried as I see his facial expression change after he said that. He seems down? Perhaps because he is worried Jin and his friends are still going to go after him.
