Y/N POV

School was finally over and I was walking to my locker to get my stuff and go home with Taehyung for my daily tutoring. It was a long day and I had a lot on my mind to be completely honest, but spending some time with Taehyung was probably going to make things better.

I was quite exited to be honest, I've had some time to think today and my friendship with Taehyung is very important to me. I thought a lot about what Jimin told me today and he is right to be honest.

Taehyung is important to me and it shouldn't matter what my friends think. I'm sure the girls would be fine with it, they have been there for me since I started attending this school and moved here, I can't imagine them leaving me for something so silly.

As for Jin and his friends, I've always gotten along with Jungkook and not being as close with Namjoon and Hoseok seems to be something I'm content with. It would be nice actually, Hoseok knows everything about me and Namjoon scares me from time to time.

The only thing I fear is that Jin will never be interested in me, but to be completely honest, if he was he would have made a move by now... I should probably let go of this hopeless crush and try to work on finding my own path.

If they can't accept Taehyung, then they can't accept me.

I reached my locker and took my books out, stuffing them in my bag. It was slightly late already so I tried to be as fast as I could since Taehyung would be waiting for me at the school gate by now. I closed my locker and was ready to get going until someone tapped my shoulder.

I turned around and saw Jin in front of me, I instantly got nervous. He looked quite nervous too, not looking into my eyes which made me a bit more at ease with him. Why would he be nervous tho?

"Hey Jin, what is it?" I asked curious.

"Hey Y/N, i-i was just wondering if you maybe wanted to go for some coffee with me? I h-have to tell you something important" he said.

I wanted to scream yes in his face and kiss his beautiful lips instantly. This is what I've been waiting for since I moved here, the one thing I always wanted! I can't believe this is actually happening, Jin is asking me out!

Even though I wanted to forget about him just a moment ago, I can't help but swoon at the idea of us getting coffee together, just the two of us! But then I remembered Taehyung is probably waiting for me outside school.

"O-oh, I would love to but I can't... I have tutoring right now with Taehyung, perhaps another time!" I explained.

I gave him an apologetic smile and turned on my heels to walk towards the school gates until Jin turned me around. He looked me in my eyes, full of lust. I couldn't help but gulp at his actions, why is he doing this to me? What is up with him?

"So you're ditching me for that stupid nerd? I thought you were the coolest girl in school, but perhaps I was wrong" he said staring into my eyes.

Well shit.

"Why are you spending so much time with him! I know he isn't just tutoring you, I see the way you guys are with each other, laughing and having fun, you're friends with him aren't you?" He said with a spiteful look on his face.
