Chapter Twenty Seven

"I'm sorry I didn't expect this to happen."

Bam sat up as he apologised to his boyfriend after scrolling through his phone, but Khun hushed his worries.

"It's fine, it's not your fault so stop apologising all the time."

"But-"

"Stop. They're just rumours. It's not as if you told everyone yourself, people are just saying whatever they want."

The two sat in silence for a while, next to each other scrolling through Khuns phone. The older boy broke the silence first.

"So what do we do?"

The couple glanced at each other, not really sure how to deal with the situation.

"I don't know..."

As they scrolled through Twitter they found another popular topic related to Viole.

- I can't believe Viole, he's despicable for toying with a womans heart like that!

- The worst type of man

- He doesn't deserve you Rachel

It seems some of Rachels followers had started a hate campaign against Viole assuming that he was the bad guy in the whole debacle. It was no surprise that some viewers had the wrong assumption that the blonde genuinely had feelings for Viole, but they strongly believed that Viole was at fault for leading her on, completely ignoring the many times Viole had denied having feelings for her during the vlogs.

Rachel had also seen this new trend and had jumped on the opportunity that presented itself to her.

Sorry about the vlog and cutting it short. But don't worry! My broken heart will heal and I will be back to vlogging tomorrow!

"Wow....."

Khun stared at the post in disbelief before glancing at his boyfriend who was also staring at the post but showing no emotion.

"You okay Bam?"

"Yeah, I'm fine."

He responded, obviously not fine. Khun placed an arm around the brunette, pulling him in closer to him before started to speak.

"I'm not good wth these sorts of things, y'know.... emotions....."

Khun smiled as he earned a chuckle from his boyfriend.

"I don't know what I should be saying or doing in these situations. I want to tell you that Rachel is a bitch and doesn't deserve you but I get the feeling that's not what you want to hear."

Bam had started to furrow his eyebrows when Khun called Rachel a bitch, he had been lied to and betrayed by her but she had still been there for him when he had needed her most. It's not easy to get rid of feelings you have had for years. To think badly of the one that had stuck by you when you were all alone.

"But I know that she will always have a special place in your heart, even if you don't forgive her for this and you cut ties with her, you won't be able to forget her. I only hope that you have learnt not to be fooled by her anymore."

His blue gaze locked onto Bams face as he spoke.

"It'll be tough. And I know you might want to reconcile with her at some point but.... Bam, just please know that you are worth so much more. You haven't done a thing wrong, you shouldn't blame yourself for this. You made it very clear to everyone that you didn't like Rachel in that way and there are some viewers who have ignored that and forced their own feelings onto you."

Khun was referring to the hate posts that were now making an appearance.

"You don't have to feel responsible for their feelings, it's not your fault that they have decided to react that way. That bi- Rachel isn't helping either, she is encouraging them knowing it will help her popularity to get the sympathy vote. I want to tell you to ignore them but that won't be possible so please, please know that there are so many more people out there who believe in you, who love. I love you."

Bam looked up at Khun as he was speaking, He barely had chance to finish his speech before the brunette had turned, throwing his arms around Khuns neck and kissing him as silent tears glossed his cheeks.

"Khun.... I love you.... so much..... I can't take it.... don't ever leave me...."

He said this between kisses, wanting to take in as much of Khun as he could, feeling an overwhelming surge of love taking over his being.

"I won't babe, I don't think you'd let me anyway."

Khun pulled away slightly, using his thumbs to wipe away Bams tears, he smiled as he responded referring to how possessive his boyfriend is.

"Mmmm, I'd chain you up and cut your ankles so you couldn't run..."

"That's terrifying..."

Bam had closed his eyes and leaned against Khuns chest at this point, Khun couldn't tell if he was joking or not. Deciding not to think too much into it, he started running his fingers through the brunettes hair. They stayed like that for a while longer until Bam had made a decision.

"I think I'll take a break from streaming for a while."

Surprised at this sudden announcement, Khun waited for Bam to explain.

"I don't want to announce our relationship in the middle of all this mess. I also don't want people taking it out on you."

Bam was thinking about those haters posting on Twitter knowing it likely that they would start attacking whoever his partner was as soon as they found out.

"I also think Rachel might use it against us."

With Rachel playing up to her viewers sympathy, they considered the possibility of her condemning their relationship to increase her own views.

"Well, I don't really care about any of that. I can deal with a few haters, especially if it is for you, but I'm happy with whatever you decide."

"If I take a break from streaming, everything should calm down after a little while and then things will go back to normal. It also means I can spend more time with you."

"In which case, I'm all for you taking a break!"

Khun eagerly agreed to this proposal, happy about the prospect of more time with Bam. He then made a proposal of his own.

"Why don't you move in here with me for a while then? Just until all of this has blown over."

Khun made the offer knowing that a lot of viewers would know where Bam lived due to Rachels live vlogs - she would usually document her journey there- he was concerned that some of the haters may take it too far.

Bams golden eyes lit up at this turn of events, not thinking too much of the reason.

"If I knew this would happen, I would have taken a break from streaming sooner!"

He was ecstatic at the thought of being able to stick to Khuns side 24/7 but it also helped that he didn't really feel like going back to his own apartment under the fear that Rachel might turn up unannounced. He had told her to leave her key but couldn't confirm if she actually had until he went there himself.

"We can go pick up some of your things tomorrow."
