Chapter Twenty Eight

The following day, the pair donned disguises in case they were spotted by any fans out in public. Sunglasses, hats and masks helped hide their true identities. They quickly gathered up the few things that Bam thought he would need for his stay and left the apartment behind.

After they had agreed that Bam would move in for a while, Khun had asked about the announcement he would need to make.

"How are you going to tell your followers about the break?"

"Um, I was thinking I could record a short message for them but I don't know, I don't really want to spend too much time at my place."

Thoughtfully, Bam tried to figure out the next steps.

"You could record it here?"

Khun gestured to the living room they were sitting in, much to Bams surprise.

"I only ever stream in my stream room so no one knows what my apartment looks like. Even if the viewers notice you aren't in your apartment, they'll have no way of knowing whose apartment you are in."

"You're a genius, Khun!"

"I know."

Bam kissed his boyfriends forehead as a reward.

A couple of days after the incident occurred, Bam posted his video.

"Hi everyone.... sorry I've been a bit quiet lately but you may have seen that there are some rumours going around. Today I wanted to clear up those rumours and make a little announcement.

If any of you watched JustRachels vlog a couple of days ago you would have seen that I announced I am in a relationship. Erm, normally you guys know everything about my personal life but my partner and I agreed to keep our relationship quiet for a while so we can have a bit of time to ourselves and find our feet. I hope you can respect our privacy, just until we are ready to properly announce it.

Um, some of you have also made some comments about Rachel.... I would like to clear up that Rachel and I have only ever been friends and nothing more. I have never held any romantic feelings for Rachel and she knows that. I had always made it clear in my streams and her vlogs. I also don't believe that I ever led Rachel on.... I can't talk for her feelings on the matter but I only ever treated her the same way I would any other close friend. I'm sorry if some of you misunderstood that.

Finally, my last announcement is that I will be taking a short break from streaming and YT. A lot of things have happened recently and I have decided to take some time away and let things settle. I'm sorry if this disappoints some of you but I won't be gone forever! I'll be taking some much needed 'me' time and then I'll be back.

Khun and Bam had worked hard on the script for the video. The most difficult part was addressing those that sided with Rachel. Bam didn't want to turn the situation into a war and declined Khuns proposal that they should just tell everyone the truth, that she was acting and lying to them all. When they were finally happy with the wording, Bam recorded the short but sweet message in Khuns lounge. When it was posted, the pair sighed in relief, they knew there would be comments on the video but they didn't need to worry anymore.

The comments were soon piling up on the video.

- Our poor baby Viole! Take all the time you need!

- We support you and your relationship!

- Can you believe this guy! He's basically saying it's all Rachels fault, how ridiculous!
