The rest of the stream went on flawlessly. Khun didn't respond to Bam's message and Bam didn't mention it. Khuns gameplay improved significantly as the night wore on and the initial dancing incident was forever ingrained into the brains of anyone who witnessed it. The incident was referred to often during the rest of the stream.
After the stream had finally ended, Bam and Khun kept their headsets on for a while so they could carry on talking with each other. Bam kept telling Khun how impressed he was with how quickly he had picked up the game and how good he was.
"It was nice to be able to play with someone, you ended up being pretty good as well. I think we make a great team Khun!"
Khun smiled at the words Bam had chosen. He was feeling pretty comfortable talking with him by now.
"I think so too, I was surprised that I actually enjoyed the game, I thought I would hate it. I think it helped that I was playing with you though."
"I was thinking the same thing, I enjoyed playing with someone else for a change but I think that's only because I was playing with you."
"But don't you normally do co-streams with other streamers Bam?"
Trying to control the undescribable happiness he felt, Khun started talking about Bam's channel.
"Hmmm, I guess I do the odd co-stream but that's normally because Rachel has asked me to stream with one of her friends or the other person has asked me and I feel like I can't say no...."
"You don't ask other streamers to co-stream with you?"
This surprised Khun, with Bam being such a popular streamer he figured he would have a load of streamer friends that he followed and co-streamed with.
"No, you were the first person I've asked to play with me. I don't really care too much about playing with other people."
This flattered Khun, he attempted to calm his heart and convince himself that nothing was really meant by it.
"Well, thank you, I'm flattered. I.... I don't usually like playing with others either... but if it's you I wouldn't mind...."
"Really?!"
The excitement in Bam's voice only made Khun feel worse.
"In that case, why don't we do this more often?"
"More often?"
"Yeah! I was thinking that our viewers enjoyed the stream too, so why don't we make it a thing? We can stream together once a week, obviously I wouldn't turn you down if you wanted to join me more often but we could make it official that we do a co-stream on a certain day each week. I really want to continue working with you, Khun."
"I'd like that. I mean, I think our viewers would like that!"
Khun played down the true feelings he had accidentally let slip as Bam made a victory noise. The pair then made arrangements for their weekly collab, agreeing on a day and time and how and when they would announce it.
"Aaaah, this is so exciting Khun!"
As Bam was happily gushing about their new arrangement, Khun thought he heard someone in the background which was confirmed when Bam greeted them. His mood plummeted as he heard the name.
"Oh Rachel, hi, what are you doing here at this time?!"
A muffled voice responded, their words too quiet to hear.
"Sorry Khun, apparently I have a visitor. I'll speak to you later?"
"Um, yeah sure. See you later, Bam."
