"So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith." Galatians 6:10

So as I have said before, you are not too young to get involved with the church. Going to church is great but if you want to do more, you definitely can!

Getting involved. There is so much you can do to expand and grow. Your relationship with God is so important! If you really want your faith to grow, listen up.

As a teenager, I didn't think I could do a lot. This changed once I talked to my wonderful pastor, Kathie. I offered to create a children's church. I am now the leader of the children's church. My sister and I switch off every week to take turns teaching. I started this about a year ago when I was 15. I am the leader of the children's church! If I can do it so can you!

I also started the Freedom Arts Group at my church. It really cool. Every other Wednesday, a group of us with head up to the church and hang out. We share what we do. Like for example, I crochet, my sister draws, and some other paint and make jewelry. We all get together and share what we do and try to teach each other what we know.

Also, my mom brought me up to this get together at my Pastors house. They had a guest pastor there and they taught us a lesson on communication. It was really cool! My best friend got this prophetic word given to her and a lot of people there where from my church. It was a blast!

One last thing, my mom found this amazing conference called the EYA conference. Everything You Are. I am super excited and I can't wait. "We want to empower and encourage you as you continue in your journey of becoming the woman you really are inside!" You have time to meet new friends and worship. This will be my first time going! I'll let you guy know how it went, too!

So yeah, get involved with stuff. Join your youth group, talk to your pastor about any youth conferences around. Don't be shy to ask!

Dear Lord,
Thank you for the youth groups and other ways to participate in the church. I want to be able to have my relationship with you grow. Thank you for the strength to talk to my pastor and other people from the church. Thank you! In Jesus name, Amen.
