"Let no one despise your youth; instead, you should be an example to believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity." 1 Timothy 4:12

We all know at least one sterotype. I'm also sure you have heard a few about teenagers. Teens all do drugs, get pregnant, join gangs, drink and smoke. Really, all of them? No. Of course not. That's why its a stereotype. Yeah, maybe some teens are like that, but not all.

Paul told Timothy to not let people look down on you because you are young, but to be an example for others. Like I've stated in a previous chapter, your not to young to be an example, or make a change in this world.

So we are here to be an example to our faith. Psalm 119:9(ESV) says "How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word." Be a pure example. You can keep your way by guarding it according to God's word.

There are so many stereotypes on just us girls. I did an essay on it and yes, we are supposed to be a certain person. Even just between us girls, we set up a stereotype, a group. You know the common white girl, selfies and Starbucks coffee. Things like that. We catergorize each other.

God doesn't caterorize us. Not by color, age, or anything. He loves us all the same. No one is more important or any less. Dont get tied up in this world's judgment. Its all lies. You don't have to grow up.to be the house wife. You don't need to grow up doing only girl jobs. Who cares what you do?

We judge so quickly upon these little things and we end up missing the truth about a person. Everyone one is different and therefore stereotyping is a twisted lie on this earth. On this earth, everyone is just a human being, no more, no less.

God sees us perfect in His eyes. Don't let judgment bring you down and don't be so quick to judge them. Be an example of God and live a fruitful life!
Dear Lord,
As a teenage girl, I get stereotyped by a lot of people. Lord, help the people of this world see we are all created equal. You put each and everyone here on this planet for a reason. Some people do see it, so I ask you Lord to help them see the light. Lord, I also ask you to help me be an example of your word. I can stay pure by guarding myself with your word. I thank you for helping me know the truth. Thank you for helping me be the best example I can be. In Jesus name, Amen.
