"Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." Ephesians 6:13

As a Christian you are a soldier in God's army and as a soldier, you are called to fight. You are fighting to protect yourself and others from evil. To protect ourselves we need to know God's word and know his promises. The enemy that God would have us fight is Satan. Jesus defeated Satan on the cross, but Satan’s influence can still be felt.

Satan is the deceiver. He knows he can't win against God but nothing will stop him to try against us! He will lie to you. It might not be that clear to you because he twists words up and makes you listen to him. He makes you doubt God's word. He will try everything to tear you away from God. Satan does not want you to be saved, to be in a relationship with God.

But did you know he has no power over you? NO POWER! None at all. You only give him a chance when you listen to him. Don't listen to him. That's how it starts. By giving him your attention and then listening to him.

Since you are in God's army, you have everything you need to protect yourself. God's word. Even if you just believe in His word, that is just enough to fight against Satan. God's word is the truth! Stand firm, knowing that He loves you and has the power to save you. And when Satan comes, you will be ready for him. That’s what it means to be a soldier in God’s army. Have faith and be strong.

To be a stronger soldier, remember to spend more time with your bible and time with God. Your relationship with God is really important. I know I have said it before, but it is truly important.

Dear Lord,

I am part of your army. I am a soldier. In order to fight, help me to know your word. Help me to remember to spend time with your word. Help me to spend time with you. Thank you for reminding me everyday to make time for you. I want to win this battle. I want to protect myself when it comes against Satan. I know he has no power over me! I want to thank you for standing next to me in this battle! In Jesus name, Amen.

Just a thing, I was wondering if you could give some feedback? I want to know if you want me to talk about anything special! Let me know! I would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
