Cats gathered in the clearing as Redstar leaped onto the highrock. She looked down at her clan, they return her confident gaze. "Today Azureclaw brought a rogue kit from the edge of our territory." Her tail flicked towards Azureclaw who sat quietly, the kit stomping away from her. Redstar continues, "Me and Omenshard have decided that "Jinx" will train as an apprentice with Azureclaw and will be know as Jinxpaw." Redstar exchanged glances with Omenshard, her mate. She looked back at the rogue kit, Jinxpaw, now sitting towards the edge of the crowd. "He will train with the oth-" Redstar was cut off.

"No," Jinx meowed loudly.

"What do you mean, 'No'!?" Redstar hissed in surprise and anger. "I will not be called Jinxpaw, I'll be Jinx, just Jinx." He remained calm dispite the threats cats where hissing into his ear. "Disrespectful peice of mouse pile," An elder with one eye hissed, his tail lashing in outrage. Lynxpaw gasped in surprise, shocked by Jinx's disrespect. Jinx goes on, "And me and Azureclaw will train in private, not with other apprentices." Cats growled in outrage. "Why Is Redstar letting some rogue make damands," a warrior mumbled.  Savageclan grew louder, "We should just kill him!" Someone shouted. Cats yowled in agreement.  Lynxpaw shuddered trying not to imagine cats tearing Jinx apart. She tried her best not to dash into the apprentice den in fear. She glanced at Coldpaw, her closest friend. Dispite everything he remained calm, focused on Jinx. Coldpaw's eyes seemed to look past Jinx's pelt. Does he know Jinx? Lynxpaw questioned herself.

"Fine Jinx." Redstar spoke up making the clearing go silent. "Train well with Azureclaw, work hard for this clan, and never I mean never, betray this clan or you will regret ever being kitted." Her words hung in the air. Thick like morning fog yet clear as water. She doesn't trust him, but then why let him join?

Coldpaw finally snapped out of it and looked over at Lynxpaw. She tried her best to look excited, but she could tell something was wrong with her dearest friend Coldpaw.
