Coldpaw and Lynxpaw dashed through the forest pursuing a young hare. Tnick yet fast. Lynxpaw thought to herself, her mouth starting to water. They dodged trees, leaped over rocks, and dodged around holes yet they didn't get closer to the hare.

The trees thinned into flat moor, tall grass tickling their nose. She glanced around, This isn't Savageclan's territory

"Oh no." She meowed in shock, "I think we might be lost... And on Swiftclan's territory,  oh Starclan, we're going to get killed by Redstar if she finds out." They slowed to a halt taking in there surroundings, the hare slowed down realizing it was no longer being chased. It twitched its nose and leaped off into a hole. "Nothing's going to happen because we're going to get ot of here before any one notices," Coldpaw meowed confidently.

Coldpaw led the way but suddenly rushing forward. "Why the rush.." Lynxpaw's voice failing her; Coldpaw stared at a corpes. Lynxpaw gagged in disgust, she's never seen a dead cat before. "Its definitely an apprentice," Coldpaw whispered.  Lynxpaw leaned forward over Coldpaw's shoulder to get a better view dispite the weird sensation her throat was giving off. Shocked by the blood she stumbled forward knocking Coldpaw onto the apprentice.  Coldpaw scrambled off,  hissing angrily.  He turned around anger and fear filling his eyes, "Now my scent is all over him!" he hissed at Lynxpaw who strank back. "Im sorry" she mumbled, "I just wanted to see."
You mouse brain! Now Coldpaw's scent is all over the apprentice, they might kill him. And its all your fault.

She shook off the dark thoughts calling to her. "We need to wash the scent off," Coldpaw rushed towards a distant forest. Lynxpaw nodded sprinting after him.

                                                                                                                   * * *

Lynxpaw blinked the morning crust off of her eyes as the sun rose towards dawn. She crept out of the apprentice den, careful not to wake anyone up. She peered back in to check if Coldpaw was awake. Disappointed, the young she cat made her way towards the fresh kill pile. "Hey Lynxpaw!" Silenthowl called her over. Lynxpaw slowly made her way towards the group of warriors he's surrounded by. They greet her with kind smiles yet tierd eyes. Silenthowl glowed despite his den mates. "Lynxpaw how was yesterday,  I heard you and Coldpaw didnt return with prey," Silenthowl teases in a friendly manner. Normally I'd tease him back, but I just dont feel like it.

"You two playing around again?" Galaxydust meowed looking at Lynxpaw sympathetically.  Lynxpaw nodded at Galaxydust, who was made a warrior not to long ago; along with her sister Milkyflower. "You and Coldpaw are like two hares in a hole," Galaxydust grinned. Silenthowl ignored her, "Lynxpaw you can have the rest of my robin."

Lynxpaw shook her head,

"I ate last night." Her stomach felt weird everytime Silenthowl looked at her. She tries her best to ignore it but it just grows more and more around him. Silenthowl looked back at the robin clearly disappointed. "I have to go," Lynxpaw mumured and exited camp before coughing up last night's meal. No it wasn't Silenthowl, it was for that apprentice.

She coughed even more up, pausing as a familiar scent washed over her. Swiftclan's scent.  She almost yelped but noticed Jinx staring at her only a few mouse lengths away.
