"Uuuuuugh, since when is there a Saturday where we have nothing to do?" Gumball moaned.
"Dude, you have to look on the bright side. It's the weekend, we could do anything today!" Darwin said.
"The word anything, put in these terms, also means nothing." Anais moans.
"See? Even Anais is bored!" Gumball moans yet again.
"Oooh! Why don't you three play a bored game?" Nicole pipes up from the kitchen.
"Nah, that's boring." Gumball gripes.
"Well, I'm going in my room. Why don't you two go for a walk or something?" Anais said while she walks up the stairs.
"Nah, that's boring too." Gumball said.
"Ooh! Ooh! Why don't we set up a lemonade stand?" Darwin squeals.
"Oooh! For money?" Nicole asks.
"No, to give out lemonade. It's pretty hot outside anyways, not to mention we have nothing better to do." Darwin says while giving the family a weird look.
"Mm, ok. But only because I got nothing else to do." Gumball agrees.
"Well, you two will be able to give out a lot more if we help! Right Richard?" Nicole said while glancing over at Richard, who is slowly snoring on the couch beside the boys.
"I said RIGHT RICHARD?!" Nicole says a little louder than before.
This makes the bunny wide awake.
"Huh??" He notices everyone is looking at him.
"Oh, right! Yes we will help you with whatever you two are up to!" He says with energy.
Nicole sighs at this.
"Well, if we are going to give out lemonade, we need 3 things," Nicole states.
"Heart, Joy, and Manners!" Darwin says with determination.
"No. Well, yes, but I was going to say to be proper dressed," She said while staring at the boys, who were all still in their pajamas. "Teamwork, and most importantly, lemonade. And lots of it." Nicole finally stated.
"Uuugh, why can't we just hand it out like this?" Gumball moans.
"Because what if Penny stops by?" Darwin asks. To which Gumball's ears shot right up.
"Yeah your right! I need to get dressed!" He said as he zoomed up the stairs and almost ran into the door face first.
"Why don't you ask your sister too Darwin?" Nicole asks the fish.
"Ok Mrs. Mom!" And he too went up to their room.
"Ok, while their distracted, I'm going to prepare the lemonade." Nicole said.
"What are you doing? We don't have any!" Richard stares at her rummaging through something in the kitchen.
"I found your secret stash." She replied.
"Darn it." He admits.
"And lucky for us, there is enough to fill our entire cooler full of it!" She says happily.
"But we don't own a cooler!!" Richard shouts.
"I found yours in the shed." Nicole calmly replies.
"Gosh Darn it!!!" He shouts.
"Hey Anais! We're gonna set up a lemonade stand wanna come?" Darwin asks.
"Yes, I didn't even know it was possible to get this bored in the span of 5 minutes." She replies while staring at her clock.
"Oh, ok! See you downstairs!" Darwin says as he rushes towards his bedroom.
"Good news Gumball! Anais-woah!" Darwin says before being cut off by the sight of his brother, who is hopelessly tangled up in his sweatshirt.
"Mmph!" Was all that Gumball could make out before falling over onto his face.
Darwin couldn't help but chuckle at this. That is until he could here Gumball shout 'Why are you laughing?! I kind of need some help here!!' In his head.
"Ok ok! Sorry!" Darwin apologized as he pulled the sweatshirt off of his brother with ease.
"Whoa how did you do that?" Gumball said dumbfounded after catching his breath.
"Dude you put it on upside down." Darwin laughed.
"Yeah, yeah, give me that!" The cat said as he swiped the sweatshirt out of his brother's hand.
"Ok. I think I'm good. Whew!" Darwin chuckled.
After getting dressed properly, the two boys went downstairs to meet their sister and parents all ready to go.
"Ok. Have we got everything on the list? Properly dressed?" Nicole asks as Anais pulls out a notebook and pen.
"Check."
"Lemonade?"
"Check."
"Teamwork?"
"We'll find out."
"A bunch of determination?"
"For some reason, yes."
"All right!! We're ready to go!" Darwin says jumping in excitement.
"I don't know what the big deal is, we're just handing out lemonade." Anais said.
"Because it's a nice thing to do!!" Darwin said.
"Family bonding time!!" Nicole shouts.
"Free lemonade." Richard says dreamily.
"The possibility of seeing Penny." Gumball whispers under his breath while the shape of a heart can be recognized on his eyes.
"Ok then," Anais says overwhelmed by their sense of enthusiasm. "Let's go!"
"Ugh! Why do we have to bring the table and this sign with us?" Richard whined. On normal circumstances he wouldn't mind, but in right now, he had to carry the two items, and they weren't exactly light either. Nicole dragged the cooler, which, lucky for her, had wheels. Gumball and Darwin were in charge of the cups, and Anais, nothing because they didn't bring anything else for her to carry.
"Come on Mr. Dad! It's only down the block!" Darwin said trying to encourage the large bunny.
"Uuuuuugh!" Richard whined.
"Come on! Your not even breaking a sweat!" Nicole said.
"Yeah, but neither are you! And you have to drag as much as I do!" He protests.
Nicole just sighs as they keep walking.
"Ok. Is this a good spot? Because I'd kill for some lemonade right now." Gumball panted.
"Yeah, it's kind of hot out Darwin!" Anais agreed.
"Ok fine." Darwin said. He really thought they could find a better spot, but everyone was sweating at this point.
"Oh come on you guys! We've only been walking for 15 minutes!" Darwin said.
"Yeah, but you don't have a neck or torso. So there is less areas for you to get hot and sweat." Anais said out of breath.
"Yeah dude, let's set it up here." Gumball said.
"Ok." Darwin moaned. "Mr. Dad, you're in charge of setting up the table and stools. Mrs. Mom, you, Gumball and I will get the lemonade ready after Mr. Dad does his part. And Anais, uh"
Anais looks at him with sad eyes. Knowing she has nothing to do until this is all set up. Darwin did some quick thinking.
"Anais take these cups and help Mrs. Mom, Gumball and I." Darwin orders while giving her some of his cups.
Anais smiles a warm smile. "Thanks Darwin."
Meanwhile at the Watterson's house, the ground starts to shake in the garden. This gets more violent, but not violent enough for any neighbors to notice, until a small hole opens up to show...infinity??
