It was weird for them.

Pacing around, sometimes lying on the plain white surface and staring at the plain white nothingness above, sitting idly or rocking back and forth holding their knees, both of them kept switching between these positions with some random talks in between to keep themselves from losing their minds.

She did it more for Namjoon than herself. She was used to the silence, he was not. He was surrounded with friends who turned into his family, he was always surrounded with liveliness and he himself was full of life. So Saranya kept bringing up things to talk about, anything literally, right off of her mind.

"You know that shark and goldfish grow according to the size of their environment."

"Tell me how you maintain your bonsais."

"Three things you can't live without. And please don't say my name thrice like the last time."

"I saw one tiny octopus once while it was hiding under a small cove."

"Cham cham cham!"

"I love how you play with words. Sarang and saram is the smartest thing in the world after you of course."

"I used to take part in plays. I was a tree, an arrogant king, Mother Teresa and a villager while being the narrator."

"Your favourite member. Don't say you don't have any favourites because even teachers have favoured students and parents have a favourite child so you must have one too."

"Why you sad? I don't know. Nan molla."

"I never thought I'd be your soulmate... I always just admired everything about you and would be envious of Jungkook for being so lucky. He gets to see you everyday. You're his inspiration. If we ever met, I'm sure Jungkook and I would be coped up together and gushing over you."

"Tang."  "Su."  "Hyuk."

"Have you seen a sea snake! I've seen four. On the shore. Crawling towards the ocean. Wild sea snakes!" She had gushed in excitement.

"Dark chocolate or milk chocolate? And no plain sugar is not an option here."

"I started cooking when I was nine or something to help out my mom. I used to make dinner preparations so when she'd come home, she can easily start cooking."

"You remember 'I know'? I fell in love with how you thanked the ARMYs for being with you for three years."

"Thank you for existing Namjoon... Thank you for being you." He wasn't sure but he thinks he saw a tear trail down her cheek.

"Rock. Paper. Scissors."

"I want the library from Beauty and The Beast."

"Is it mentioned that Humpty Dumpty was an egg?"

Namjoon was glad to hear her bring up things to talk about. They were not sure of the time but for him, it seemed to stop whenever she spoke.

Time might not be a concept in the void but Namjoon eagerly waited those silent gaps between their conversations just so he could talk to her.

He felt like he didn't have to do everything. That he can let someone else call the shots and it felt bittersweet that their time together in a void was like a vacation but the reason why is the bitterest.

He actually wanted to talk to her about her suicidal thoughts and hear our her worries but whenever they inched closer to the topic she backed away like a wounded animal or changed the topic, so he didn't want to make her uncomfortable.

Later he was going to regret not talking to her about her issues.
