Chapter 3: I DARED, TO DARE

Zainabs POV

When I got home, my parents were at home, my dad was sitting in the parlour watching the news, "Papa, Good Afternoon" I said walking sitting on the couch and watching the news with him. "So how was school did you make any friends?" He looked at me "Oh yes I made a new friend, he invited me to a house party this evening can I go?" I looked up at him expectantly. "Yes, you can go both your mum and I are staying home this evening go have fun." I smiled and ran upstairs to prepare for the party.
Now it is time to look for clothes to wear and I am in a bit of a frenzy because I dont know what to wear, looking through my clothes I was very much frustrated. I settled for a leopard skin gown not formal but not informal. I decided to sleep to pass time since it was 4 Oclock and I still had time.

At 7pm I decided to get ready for the party because why not, I know I had a 1 am curfew. I know I live in a Nigerian house but my parents are not so strict. They believe in allowing the child make their own mistakes and learning from it so they would be able to be independent when the time come yeah yeah they are cool like that, when I was dressed I bounced down the stairs to tell my parents I am going out "Daddy, Mummy I am going" I said grabbing my Dads car key from the shelf "okay kuji dadi ku dawo da wuri" Okay have fun be back early my dad said as I was walking out of the door. I just nodded.

I walked to his car and looked the address Tunde gave me okay so he lives at Ikoyi not to far from my house, okay I said I was on scholarship does not mean I am poor my parents are relatively okay but not that rich to pay 1.2 million a term on two children because that is how much they bought our house. I got to Tundes house and godammit this place is big and fine as fuck excuse my language but the boy lives in a mansion, I packed my car and walked to the front door the music was loud and I was scared to go inside but I had promised the boy that I would come so why not. Taking deep breathes I walked into the house the first person I saw was Chukwuka great what is he doing here of course he is here it is his best friends house and party, I shook my head looking at what he was wearing, he was wearing a white top and a pink sweat pants but managed to look hot while doing that God have mercy on my soul I was checking out the boy who threatened to make my stay at school a living hell. He looked up smiled and walked over to me "Hi, you came" He said looking at me "Yeah I had no choice I made a promise to Tunde that I will be here" I looked up at him he just nodded and we walked into the house together we walked to the pool area where we found Tunde, Dubem and a few of my classmates "Hey, Zainab you came" Tunde smiled and gave me a side hug, I said hello to Dubem he just nodded at me. Tunde continued "Oh you guys are just on time we are about to play Truth or Dare" He shouted of course he looks like a party animal, "How does it go, do we spin the bottle or do we ask the person next to us?" knowing the person next to me, "No we spin the bottle we know how it works, I go first" Tunde rolled the bottle and it landed on a girl whose name I discovered to be Mitchel "Truth or Dare" He asked and she chose truth Tunde asked her how she lost he virginity causing me to cough like damn that is private. Apparently, she lost it during a field trip in SS1 girl you are young though. It was me next and I rolled the bottled and it landed on Chukwuka I asked him truth or dare he picked dare I did not know what to ask so I asked the classic pick any girl you like or have an interest in and kiss her for 10 seconds I said and I saw him smiled before I could say anything I was being kissed damn he is kissing me I forgot people were counting until Tunde started screaming "it is okay oh stop nau e done do."

Chukwuka stopped and I ran out as fast as I could because this was not planned damn, I have got to ignore him.

Would she be able to ignore him for long? would he want to be ignored? Would he want something more?.
