The 5 Knights

Chapter 13

A shadow figure appeared in the sky above the abandoned mansion. The light children were all around the body of Radon and the five knights.

"I have never seen Salem this scary before." Said the child who sat on the boulder. "He seems so powerful and willing to kill anyone who stood in his way." "So this creature is Salem?" Asked Rosa, standing on her feet.

"Guys I will-" Nightmare did not even continue her sentence until a figure with bloody red eyes stood behind her. She jumped backward and put her scythe in front of her, to attack if he tried anything funny.

He looked so much different. white horns coming out of a white hair. His face was the same as before. However, he seemed skinny and taller, with pure white skin just like snow. He was naked from the top though. His scythe looked like but contained more power than any scythe Nightmare could ever meet. Even more powerful than that of the God of Death.

The moment Salem opened his mouth, a white breeze came out of it, like the cooled-down fire. "I believe no one saw this form before." Said Salem with a deep voice. "You look like a monster, to be honest." Announced Carl.

He pointed his tall pointy fingers on Carl and dipped him underground. "Listen up angels. Every creature is a monster. They just change forms." He made so much pressure downwards the moment he pointed his finger down. As if the gravitational pressure was tripled.

Nightmare made a chair out of black hands came out of her back, she sat on it, crossed legs, planted her scythe into the ground, and said with a neutral tone, "Being a monster is an action, not a shape."

Salem laughed out loud with his original kind voice and said "Yes exactly. You understand these types of things." "Question, what is upgraded in this costume of yours?" Asked Amelia with a timid tone.

"More importantly, can you revive Radon he died because of your transformation?" Announced Barmouth, grabbing Salem's attention. "Why would I revive a leader who will suffer more n the future?" Announced Salem without thinking of an actual answer for her.

"He did get hollowed for a reason you know." Said Carl, dragged himself out of the deep hole his soul was sent in.

"Man this body you placed me in really sucks. I don't like it." Announced Carl after he stood on his legs. "Rosa looked amazed at him. "It is too dark to see your body, but it seems your naked, Carl." Announced Nightmare in a mocking tone.

"Is it that dark now?" Asked Salem, teleporting everyone to a place where the sun was shining. All of them were stunned. They did not realize what happened until they looked around.

A land where butterflies and bees flying from one blue flower to another red flower. Lands of beautiful colorful hills and green mountains.

Nightmare got the hands back into her body, stood on her feet, and walked around. She did not know where to rest her eyes. And the smell of the refreshing spring filled that land.

"Five knights, this is where we elect our new leader, Nightmare. at the same time, this is where Radon wanted his grave to be." Announced Salem with a sweet voice. "How did you know? And I disagree to take Radon's place." Announced Nightmare.

"Why not? The rule said that the strongest get to be the lead." Replied Salem, elaborating his statement. "You said it yourself. The strongest takes the lead." Replied Barmouth, walked between the multicolored fields.

"I am NOT taking the lead." Said Salem ending the negotiation. "How about you guys make a friendly battle. Whoever forces the opponent to give up wins. And the knight who stays till the end shall be the leader of the five knights." Said Carl, walked around as he placed his hands between his legs.
