Y/N P.O.V

I sat at the kitchen table in their headquarters, I decided that I have officially gone insane. There is no way in hell that it was 1991. Egon and Ray were both looking at the book I had found and Peter and Zeddemore were playing cards next to me. I crossed my arms and laid my head down and sighed. I felt a hand pat me on my back. I looked up and saw Zeddemore patting me on the back while still looking at his cards.

I stood up and walked to a window and looked out the window. I watched as cars drove by and people walking around. I turned and surveyed my surroundings. There was a small kitchen and to the right of it, a doorway that led to their sleeping quarters. I can see some of the beds from here. There are a pool table and some arcade machines next to a fire pole that led downstairs I assume. There were a few desks with which had tools and books all over them. There was also a staircase that led down.

I walked over to the staircase and looked down. I then looked back to the guys and saw that they were all preoccupied. I made my way silently down the stairs and decided to explore. I reached the bottom of the stairs and looked around. It was a garage. I saw an old-style ambulance that had been redone as well... I'm not sure. I looked and saw a receptionist desk with a lady reading a newspaper. She didn't notice me. I walked up to the car and ran my hand over it. It was exquisite craftsmanship, she was beautiful. I looked around the building and realized that I was in an old fashioned firehouse that had been remodeled.

I looked to my left and saw some more stairs that led down and decided to follow them. The lady at the reception desk still hasn't noticed me. I didn't mind. I entered the basement level and saw a huge... I don't even know what to call it. It was massive. It was red and round. It had lights that were flashing. I could see that there was a small window attached to it. I cautiously made my way to it and looked inside. I saw all sorts of creatures and things. They said that they were Ghostbusters, could these all be ghosts? Only logical fact. They hunt down the paranormal, then they catch it and store it. That's insane.

I watched with interest, this was fascinating. I looked into the storage container that housed all the ghosts. I heard someone clear their throat and I jumped in surprised. I turned and saw Peter standing there, I gave a sigh of relief.

"Oh god, you scared me," I said holding a hand to my heart.

"You shouldn't be down here and we need to talk to you," He said.

He gestured towards the stairs and I nodded and walked up the stairs, Peter following behind me. We got back up to the garage part of the building and I saw Ray and Zeddemore standing there looking around.

"Ah, there she is," Ray said.

"Found her downstairs by the containment unit," Peter said.

I looked down and put my hands in my pockets. It was silent. I sighed and made my way to the second set of stairs and walked up to the third floor. I heard footsteps behind me and just assumed it was them. I saw Egon still sitting down looking at the book. He was sitting at the kitchen table. I walked over and sat down across from him.

"So, where'd you say you found this book?" Egon asked.

I sighed and told them the whole story about what happened up to when we all met. They all looked at each other and then back at me. I sat back and crossed my arms.

"Well, I think introductions are in order," Ray said.

I sighed and nodded.

"I'm Y/N," I said.

"Well Y/N, I'm Peter, that's Ray and Egon, and this is Winston. That was Janine you saw downstairs," Peter said pointing to everyone.

I nodded and looked at the book on the table. I reached out and grabbed it, I turned it in my hands and they all watched me. I sighed and decided to open it. I read it.

"Can you read that?" Ray asked.

"Yes, it's quite easy but they all look like spells, to be honest," I said.

I read some more of it and flipped the pages. More of it looked like recipes. Herbal recipes. I looked up and they all were looking at me.

"What?" I asked.

"The only things I and Ray saw in that book were hieroglyphics," Egon said.

I sighed and placed the book on the table. I rubbed my eyes and yawned. I leaned my head on my hand with my elbow on the table. I looked at the book and slowly flipped the pages. I felt my eyes slowly closing.

"Let's give her some time to sleep," Ray said.

I felt someone pick me up and carry me. I opened my eyes a little and saw that they placed me in a bed. I soon fell asleep.

Enter Dream

I stood atop a building, watching as havoc was taking place. Ghosts ran amuck and chased people. I looked at myself and saw I wore a silk blue dress and a crown. I felt a presence behind me and turned around to see an old fashioned man who looked royal.

"Who are you?" I asked.

The man did nothing but give a smile. I backed away and found a hard surface on my back. I turned and saw the Ghostbusters headquarters. I rushed inside to get away from all the chaos. I looked around and called out for the guys. They had to try and get this all under control. I walked up to Janine's desk and saw the book... and Janine. She wasn't responding. Was she? No. She can't be.

"Guys!" I hollered.

I ran up the stairs and saw the guys sprawled out on the floor. I fell to my knees and began crying. I couldn't believe it. Everything was going to hell.

End Dream

I jolted up and was sweating. I began silently crying.

"Are you alright?" I heard Egon ask me.

I nodded and then thought a moment and shook my head. He walked over and sat on the edge of my bed. I pulled my knees to my chest and saw the other three asleep. I looked back at Egon.

"Why aren't you asleep?" I asked him.

"I work too much, I only sleep about thirty minutes a day," He said.

"That's not a lot," I said.

He nodded and I saw he had the book in his hand.

"What are you doing with that?" I asked.

"I am trying to decipher it, I've been looking at Tobin's spirit guide to see if it can help. Are you alright though?" He asked.

"I just had a bad dream, I can help you. Since I can read it," I offered.

"I think you need some sleep first, we can work on it in the morning," He said.

I nodded and laid back down. I sighed. I felt him stand up.

"Can you sit with me until I fall asleep please?" I asked him.

I heard him sigh and he stood there for a minute before I felt the bed sink again. I rolled on my side and saw I was facing Winston and seen Peter and Ray on the opposite side of the room. I closed my eyes and felt myself fall back asleep. When I awoke, the morning light was shining through the window. I sat up and yawned. I stretched my arms and legs. I think that it's time to go help them with the book.
