The Perfect Summer Can't Last Forever

Chapter 1.

Rossalina's POV (aka Rose)

There I was celebrating my 18th birthday. I was officially an adult and I'm super happy! I was at a cute little restaurant by the castle that I lived in. I was wearing a gorgeous pink ball gown and it made my beautiful blue eyes pop out. I didn't have a lot of make up on and I had bleached my hair really light blonde. my hair was originally dirty blonde but I hated that color so I bleached my hair. My whole family was at the restaurant with me because later on we were having a ball at the beautiful palace that I lived in.

The palace that I lived in was a whopping 6 stories tall and was HUGE! My home had it all a pool, a hot tub, elevators, gardens, a huge backyard, a huge front yard, secret passage ways, secret tunnels under the castle, and even more.

I forgot to mention that im Princess Rossalina Deleransia. I have one sister and one brother and of course the king and the queen who are my perfect parents. I go to a normal school and am i completely normal 18 year old girl except for everyone knows me and i have tons of paparazzi. In two months im going to start my senior year of high schooland im so excited!

The waiter finally came to take out orders and let me tell you he was HOT!!! He had dark brown hair and electrifying blue eyes and he had the sexiest voice I have ever heard.

I've come to this restaurant a lot before but I've never seen him working here so he must be new.

"Princess?"The waiter said

"Yea?" I said back in a sort of love struck voice.

"What would you like to order?"

"Uhmmm I'll have a salad with ranch dressing please"

"Ok your food will be right out"

My family and I were talking about the ball and how they were surprising me with a cake and party decorations.

The waiter came back with our food and it looked so good! I couldn't help but ask him to the ball because he was super hot.

"Hey there, do you have anything planned tonight? Im having a ball at my castle to celebrate my 18th birthday tonight and Iwas wondering if you could come I mean that's only if you can."

"Rossalina!!!" My mother cried out in shock.

"It's ok Queen Marie. I'd be delighted to come." The waiter said

"Sweet! You know where the castle is right?" I asked

"Of course I know where the castle is every citizen in this kingdom know where it is" he said laughing.

Knowing me I started laughing too and before we knew it we were cracking up and gasping for air. My family was looking at us like we were insane but I didn't care because I knew was insane.

"Princess?" The waiter said snapping me out of my laughing fit.

"Yea?"

"I have to get other people's orders so ill see you tonight ok?"

"Wait! I never got your name" I said

"Oh my name is Alex"

"Nice to meet you Alex. By the way you can just call me Rose"

"OK Rose ill see you tonight"

"Ok" I said kind of dissappoionted

I finished up my food and waited for my family to finish. Once my family finished we payed and left making sure there was a very generous tip for the waiter.

My family and I got into our super big limo and drove back to the castle. Today was the day I finally turned 18!

I got out of the limo and there were my two favorite body guards standing outside the palace doors. They greeted me as I entered the castle and I greeted them back. I ran upstairs into my gigantic room and crashed on my bed. I slowly closed my eyes and before I knew it I was asleep. I was awaken my my little Basenji, Beja. She was licking my face. I glanced over at the time and it was already 5:30. Crap! the ball started at 6:30 so I only had an hour to get ready.

I got up quickly and jumped into the shower, I did my make up and ran into my huge closet to pick something to wear. I picked out an amazing blue ball gown with lace and put it on. All that was left to do was do my hair. I put my hair in a bun that turned out sort of messy. Oh well it will have to do. I ran down stairs to be greeted by the amazing scents in the kitchen. There was all sorts of yummy foods so I grabbed a piece of bread and made it to the ball room. Little did I know my parents had a huge surprise for me.
