Four False Lives

"I-I can explain!" I stuttered, trying to rack my brain for a logical excuse I could use. Leo just stood there wide eyed.

"Shut the door," Leo said. I nodded and shut the door, still freaking out that my roommate had found out my secret.

"Okay, I can explain. I know you found my suit and everything and that you realize I'm you know who, but please—"

"Percy, shut up." Leo threw the suit on my bed. "I won't tell your secret because I have a secret too. I'm Ash,"

"Really?" I asked. "So that's how you knew Grover even though he didn't know you! Oh my god, this makes so much more sense,"

"So now what do we call each other?" Leo asked.

I shrugged, "we keep it the same I guess. Oh by the way, I know you don't have coms but I do with Grover so we can hook you in too,"

"I have one with hazel!" Leo bounced around like an exited kitten. "Okay, you call Grover, I got Haze. We can tell them if that's okay,"

"That would be awsome! But what do we tell Frank and Annabeth?"

"We both need to go get twister so we'll be gone tonight,"

I nodded. "That's a solid excuse,"

The two of us made our phone calls, excuses, packed an overnight bag and left to OLYMPUS. Thankfully, we had a room up there all to ourself but it never got much use because we would always have to stay in costume.

Grover and Hazel met us there, shocked by the news we told them. But after we all calmed down, Grover asked the question in everyone's minds. "Well what do we do now?"

Leo knew the answer immediately. We suited up and we played spin the bottle. Because can you ever actually be a superhero staff billion dollar company if you don't play spin the bottle?

There were some interesting pairings, some ships. This one girl named Piper even started squealing when some people kissed.

Leo's turn was up, the last turn of it all. It spun and spun until it finally landed on Hazel. Both of them blushed immensely, and I had to quickly put out a non-noticeable fire but they kissed and pulled away.

I walked Leo up to our room while Grover and hazel stayed back to talk. I lowered my voice and closed the door, "you like her. Don't you?"

"Why does it matter? She's Frank's girlfriend, I'm forever friend zoned and I don't want to hurt her or him. Frank's like the nicest person I know,"

An alarm went off as I opened my mouth and I saw a picture of Shifter. Leo sighed in annoyance, "ugh, I hate Shifter. He's like the worst person I know,"
