Let's just start off with the fact that my coworker was an idiot. Riptide went after Secret by himself, that was basically a suicide mission.

I paced the top of my apartment building, waiting for Tide to meet me. He has no clue I actually lived here, which made life a lot more convenient for me.

But right now, all I was was anxious. Why would he had gone out there without me? I thought he knew better than that or actually thought things through occasionally.

"It's fine, Leo," Hazel said into my ear piece. "Besides, that's one secret he's keeping. He has no clue you have me, so let him off easy. Okay?"

"Okay," I grumbled.

Tide flew up into the building by hurricane, giving me a small smile. "Hey Ash,"

I glared at Riptide. "You know you could've died right? Plus, I was doing nothing! I love saving people! You should've at least called me,"

"I'm sorry, but I'm back and I'm fine. Besides, I didn't have time. Let's just go on patrol, I'll call you next time, okay Ash?"

"Okay," I grumbled.

Tide rolled his eyes, "come on fire-boy. I'm exited for patrol, I haven't been out since yesterday,"

"Wow, such a long time,"

"Just come on,"

I was thankful for how close the foods of New York were. It made me feel a lot safer when I jumped across the buildings on patrol.

"Hey Leo?" Hazel spoke in my ear, "You're needed at OLYMPUS. You and tide,"

I turned towards a building, not bothering to say anything to Tide. If one of us moved the other followed, and soon we saw the big building I had been working in.

It was a seven story tall building, huge glass windows were there in every story. "I think we should go in, make sure about things,"

Tide shrugged and walked into the building. We had never been in together, and I was glad Hazel knew not to come.

"Tide! Why aren't you patrolling?" A person said, smiling as he gave a bro hug to my bro. Wait. I knew that person. That was Grover Underwood, Percys best friend.

"Grover?" I blurted out.

He looked at me, "do I know you? I mean besides you being a famous superhero and all,"

"Oh Uh, no. Just really good at guessing names," I lied.

"Oooh you are?!?" Tide asked. "Guess my real name!"

"Uh, uh, uh. Peter Johnson?"

He shook his head and smiled, before checking the time. "Crap! My landlord is about to come. My three roommates are going to kill me,"

I glanced at my watch as well. Crap! It was nearly seven, and I also had a landlord problem. "Me too! Sorry!"

The two of us rushed out the doors and through eh rooftops. We separated around a quarter of a mile from my apartment, and I ducked into an alley to take off my costume.

Percy was running into the building when I caught up to him. "Hey, work ran late for you too?"

"Yeah," he said. "Well, do you think we should hurry? Octavian doesn't go nice,"

So then we went through our annoying landlord. But there's more to what I'm telling you. Because after the landlord, when Percy asked me to go grab twister from his closet.

I guess he was in a hurry to put up his work clothes because, well, he didn't hide it well enough. I saw the costume I had worked side beside.

I looked up to see Percy with his jaw wide as he looked from the costume in my hands to me and back to the costume.

Percy looked horrified. Or should I say Riptide?

I always felt bad for lying to my roommates every day about who I was. But as it turns out, they had their own secrets themselves. My three roommates weren't who I thought they were at all.

My name is Leo Valdez, but others know me as the superhero Ash who can create fire. Me and my best friend have been operating out of an organization called OLYMPUS for the past year.

And although I didn't think it could get more crazy, I was in for a whole world of secrets, death, and landlords.
