I paced back and forth, staring at the walls of our apartment, muttering. "I don't understand. I don't understand. I just don't understand,"

"Percy, you've been pacing for an hour now. Sit down," Leo chided.

"I would but I just—"

"Don't understand." Leo gave me an annoyed look, "I know,"

"I'm sorry," I collapsed onto the couch. "It's just I can't put it together. The girlfriend I've always loved is my arch enemy who's tried to kill me more times than I can count. Oh also one of my closest friends is my other closest friends arch enemy and partner of my archenemy while being my roommate. Plus, to top it all off because that isn't enough, I have no clue how we're supposed to pay for rent next week. OLYMPUS really needs to raise our salary,"

"Okay," Leo took a deep breath and stared at me like I was a crazy person. "That's definitly a start. Now, how about we figure out the landlord issue first. I can call Grover and Hazel,"

"You do that. I'll go used how much I have stored. I was planning on—I was planning on buying Annabeth a ring and proposing. Maybe I can use some of that,"

Now you might be wondering where all of the rent we needed to pay was coming, but we were busy all month and last month that we had to skip rent.

And I really didn't want to deal with Octavian again.

Hazel snd Grover came in a moment later, almost as if they were listening at the door. But they wouldn't do that. Actually, no, they were like Learn_2_Luv they always wanted to know what happened next.

"We have money to pitch in!" Grover said like he was a superhero.

"And a plan!" Hazel pitched in. She pointed at me, "It will just take you to work double hours at Under The Sea Cafe while working as a dog walker on your break,"

"And you—" Grover pointed to Leo. "I've volunteered you to work more at Festus, but you will still have time to do patrolling, just not together. You have to be an Uber on your breaks,"

"We both have extra shifts as well. This is going to have to prepare you for the times you won't have the others until you get new roommates," Hazel finished.

(Imagine there's a montage of the four of them working. Mainly percy and Leo though)

We had managed to get enough money, although Octavian wasn't happy. I collapsed down onto the couch, Leo next to me.

"Do you think I should go talk to her? Like how you visited frank?" I asked.

"It might help you come to grips. Just don't go too hard on her,"

"She murdered hundreds, I don't think I care if I go hard on her,"
