Chapter One

Zoe's POV

*flashback to August 2016*

As she watched Alfie set up the studio lights, Zoe tried to stay calm as the thought of telling their viewers came closer.

Almost three years after they announced their relationship online, they were about to confirm the rumours.

They, being herself and Alfie. Also known as Zalfie, the biggest ship in the youtube fandom.

The rumours being that zalfie, had broken up.

With all of the pressure from fans and both of them working 24/7, it all became too much for the young couple and they decided it'd be best to go their separate ways...

ALFIE'S POV.

"We hope you respect our decisions and please remember that this will not affect our YouTube channels! See you next week"

Alfie found himself almost whispering those last few words. Deep down, he knew there wouldn't be a next week.

What was once his hobby, was now a chore and he was beginning to hate being a youtuber.

Sure, he was grateful, but his time had come and gone. Youtube was slowly starting to die out.

The popular youtuber quickly snapped out of his daze as he heard his now ex-girlfriend start talking.

"Alf, I don't think I can carry on making videos... I love every single bit of it, but it's just too much." She said holding back tears.

Embracing her tightly, he comforted Zoe, the girl he still loved, and probably always would.

"Don't worry little one, it'll all be okay in the end...

Just see where life takes you, do what makes you happy, okay?"
